US West Coast Taekwondo

As an update, US West Coast Taekwondo has sent me to collections for pulling my daughter from the class. Now I have a collections person calling me everyday.

i was skeptical about enrolling my boys into this because i really didn’t want anymore sparing in my house. Since they really wanted to do martial arts, when i found the deal on groupon for $ 19 dollars i decided to give it a try. i am very happy with it! They are taught respect, patients, and self defense! what else do you want for your children?! if you are looking into an extra circular activity for your children, this is a must! You will not be disappointed!

My boys have been going to class here for over 4 years, twice a week, with some breaks. They both went through the tiny tigers program which involves testing for white belts with colored stripes before testing for a yellow belt. One son is now a solid blue belt and the other a solid yellow belt.
Coming to class here is a commitment but it is worth it. It has helped them develop into strong, coordinated athletes and it has taught them what it means to be dedicated to something and to be proud of their work. They still do soccer or basketball and we scale down the classes to once a week during those seasons but it has been worth the effort to keep them engaged in this sport.
It is a little expensive when you include belt tests but the kids have class twice a week. I am hoping they focus more on the Family Codes and their meaning as they get older.

I am very happy with the instruction my son is receiving at US West. The instructors are quite knowledgeable and very accomplished masters themselves.
It amazes me how they can handle a group of 15 four– and five-​year olds and teach them the fundamentals of TKD while also encouraging them to have fun. The tenets they espouse also support raising well-​mannered children at home.
I’m very impressed with the program and highly recommend it.
