Service at any post office is always slow – unless you get lucky enough to arrive when the line is minimal. The hours could be better suited for people with a full-time job, but that has been my petpeeve with the USPS for years now. That said, the staff here handles your mail and packages very nicely. They always talk courteously, while still checking to see how they can help you save postage fees: a nicety. These days it seems like sending anything snailmail is super old-fashioned; yet when I really want to reach out to someone I love, sending a hand-written note or card is the best way to show I care. The personal time I take then is meaningful on both ends: theirs and mine. They have a memento, I have the time and space I took to reflect. Still seems important to me…
