dishonest, incapable, and insane. I’ve never met a «professional» who exhibited such disregard for the law and for human beings.

Look out! If you are considering using Todd Ransford, Ph.D. for any service, be careful. I was so frustrated and upset with the services he provided, parent coordination and mediation, that I went to file a complaint with the Board of Psychologist Examiners and discovered that his License was on probation. I think it has been reinstated now, but he was under probation when I hired him.
My ex-​wife and I tried to use him for Parenting Coordination and Mediation. My list of complaints over his service is enormous. Here are the most egregious:
* He would rarely bill us or provide a statement of services. When he did, I was in dept over $ 600. I would have to constantly badger him for bills and statement of services.
* He was unavailable by phone and only wanted to communicate through email.
* He charged $ 5 a page to read email; yet during sessions he would be unable to recall the emails, it was obvious he had not read them.
* In the year, we utilized his services he billed us over $ 1,200 for reading email alone.
* He would agree to write up documents and agreements only to never complete such.
* On a teleconference phone call between my ex-​wife, him, and me, I could hear his teenage son playing in the room. So, much for confidentiality.
* During several sessions at his office, his son would be playing on the office computer while we met.
My experience with Todd Ransford was horrible. If you decide to utilize him, I hope your experience will be much better that mine was. But, I’d advise anyone to completely avoid hiring him for anything.

Todd Ransford was selected and recommended by Gevurtz Menashe to do the custody evaluation for my family. For whatever reason, he was unable to recognize the severe personality disorder that is afflicting the girls’ mother. This resulted in what is going on nine years now of non-​treatment and havoc wreaked by the girls’ mother on our family.
I’ve attempted multiple times to contact Mr. Ransford to follow-​up and better understand what happened and why he made the decision to recommend the girls’ mother and he either ignores my contacts, or in the one instance in which he responded, he gave an empty response which seemed intended as a legal CYA.
I’ve had to spend tens of thousands of dollars to support my girls and will end up spending hundreds of thousands, all of which could have been directed to improving my girls’ lives, if Mr. Ransford had carried out a full and complete analysis as he claimed he would do. In our case, Mr. Ransford did not contact a single person who I had given him a list at his request. If he would have done so, he would have been speaking with people who knew both my girls’ mother and me and who could have helped him understand what was happening.
In the years since this mistaken evaluation, I and my now wife have been attacked continuously verbally, in front of the girls, and, eventually, physically in the presence of the girls. Mr. Ransford could have properly done his job and we could have avoided this. Now, it’s my understanding form the clinicians that I’ve had evaluate my daughters, they are showing early signs of parental alienation syndrome, which sets them up for lives in which they have difficult relationships.
I recognize that this job Mr. Ransford is attempting to perform is difficult and full of emotional landmines and difficult choices, but he signed up for it and I’d expect him to be able to help us avoid this sort of thing, if not diagnose it up front. It’s my understanding from reading his MMPI results that this was predictable from the test results returned on my children’s mother.
