I went to this little restaurant on a recommendation from a coworker and I was thoroughly surprised. The lady taking my order was EXTREMELY friendly and the service was fast. Needless to say, I wasnt expecting anything great but much to my surprise the food was awesome. I got the taco plate with an extra taco, rice and nacho chips. The tacos were STUFFED to the top with loads of meat and toppings and were quite tasty. I will definitely be going there again.

One world — terrible. They can’t even melt cheese in the burrito. A typical Maine high school cafeteria would likely do better. I don’t understand how they can still be in business.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, go to Mexico, if you work downtown and want a quick, economical good tasting lunch with great service, go to Tic Taco. The owners are a fixture at OCC and are willing to customize your order.

I walked down into the crappy food court in One City Center the other day because I heard there was a new salad bar down there. They had the register set up on a card table. So I went to Tic Taco. What. A. Clever. Name. I ordered a Chicken Burrito with ‘everything on it.’ Instead I got a sloppy, disgusting chicken wrap with iceberg lettuce, tomato, and *american* cheese, which is the absolute LAST thing any burrito should be having inside of it. No rice. No beans. Maybe the people who own it think, «This is Maine, people won’t know the difference.» Or maybe they think, that WE would think«Oh well a chicken wrap is also a good thing to eat.» The problem is that every time I want a nasty lettuce and shicken wrap THATISEXACTLYWHAT I ORDER. Their food was abominable, including the cup of chili, which was also cold. I give them 2* because the people working the counter were beyond friendly, fast, and professional. Believe me they were really nice to get any stars after the lump of turd they fed me.
