I have a 2001 Golf and do most of my own work, but when it’s over my head this is where I go. These guys are honest, knowledgeable and very helpful. Their rates are very fair and they’re willing to help me over the phone when I have questions about my own repairs.

Own ’05 Jetta TDI. Originally was having it serviced at German Motors in Salem. Then I found these guys, 20 blocks away. Wish I had found them earlier. You cannot ask for better VW service. Timely, reasonable, incredibly skilled.
In my view, save $ and support a small business in Lents if you are currently having your VW serviced by a dealer. Finding a shop you can trust can take years. You just found one.

The mechanics were great, and took the trouble to decide what I really needed. Replace the oil pan? Nah, let’s just replace the drain plug and I’ll take a look at it again in two weeks. For free!
But the replacement air filter just rattles, constantly, all the time. Shouldn’t replacing an air filter be relatively painless? Now I have to bring it in three times? Sheesh.

I am an enthusiast. a fanatic. obseeessed. i love volkswagens and so do the gentlemen at the Werkstatt. They know what they are doing and and they love to do it. if you have a volkswagen/​audi/​porsche/​bmw/​etc… they will treat your car as if it was their own from high performance to general maintenance.

I love «vag com». The boyfriend drives Volkswagens and absolutely loves this place. Plus they are associated with a Volkswagen club that meets at the Delta.
