I am old school German born in the Midwest, they do need help in making summer sausage it tastes better when fried ONLY! The sausage sticks very tasty. I have not tried the bratwurst yet??? Note to self bring CASH, if I go back.

Thank my lucky stars that I found you since I moved to Oregon City, I was starved for good smoked sausages. The pepperoni sticks are perfect, and I took along some Polish sausage and brats. The brats are really flavorful and the Polish sausage was out of this world. This is now my go-​to joint for my sausage needs. One of these days I gotta try the smoked salmon.

Best smoked meats I have ever eaten! A very wide variety of meat products from the best canned salmon you will ever eat, to the biggest teriyaki stick you will ever see! Nick the owner is great and has been doing this for years. Very clean and knowledgeable staff. My absolute favorite meat market!

We smoke fish at this place every year & keep going back! Great staff, great prices, but a little salty on the salty end.

I was cruising down Hwy 99 on a recent Saturday on my way to pick up something from a Craigslist seller. The old school look of The Sausage Kitchen caught my eye and I decided to check it out.
I walked into the small storefront and was greeted by a waft of smokiness. I spoke to the woman behind the counter, and she explained to me that they smoke everything in house. They have a large selection of sausages, pepperoni sticks, fish and a couple of types of bacon.
I went for the bacon, which for $ 7.95 a pound seemed like a deal. I also purchased some smoked salmon that had been vacuum sealed.
The bacon was nice and smoky and had a good fat to meat ratio. I’m not into bacon that is more fat than meat, and this one was nice and meaty.
They are a cash only place, which goes with the whole old school theme. Great spot, through and through. I’m glad I decided to check out The Sausage Kitchen.

This is a most excellent place to pick up smoke meats and or sandwiches. The fellas and I from work go there quite often to pick up their smoke salmon sandwiches they are top notch!

There’s so much I love about this place! The fresh meats and sausages! The fresh made sandwiches that are made to order! I wish I could give you five stars… But you are a cash only business. That is a major inconvenience for your customers when you don’t allow them to use the most preferred payment method in the world. What makes matters even worse is you do not even have an ATM for your customers TO GIVE YOU THE CASH THAT YOU ARE REQUESTING! Just call a merchant service processing company and get set up. It’s only going to cost you a small percentage. Not taking credit cards is costing you more than you think it is…

Great Place. Helpful people. We buy all of our sausage there but we wish they didn’t make the bacon so SALTY!

This little gem as been in operation for 50 years. The very nice co-​owner served up an ample portion of summer sausage on dark rye for around $ 5. The pepperoni sticks are definitely a good value. Apparently, their BBQ pork is quite popular and often sells out.

This place has wonderful deli sandwiches for a great price. the smoked meat is top quality and the beef jerkey is some of the finest.

This place will process your wild game into summer sausage, jerky, and any other sausage of your liking and spiciness. They may also do steak cuts or filets, I’m not too sure I didn’t ask about that.
It is a small shop, but they also have deli sandwiches. A small was $ 4 and it was a normal size sandwich. There is wide range of meat to choose from including kielbasa sausage. They sell pop and other drinks and chips for a complete meal.
