Delicious southern fried chicken! The owners are from the south and definitely know what they’re doing. A large crispy fillet on toasted bun, with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo. You can add pimento cheese and/or bacon for $ 1 each. The sandwich is served with chips, but we opted for the crinkle cut fries for $ 1 more. They also have soda and bottled water, I can’t remember exactly how much they were, but I remember them being reasonably priced. We walked a few blocks before eating and the food was still nice and hot. The service was friendly, food is fresh made so we expected a wait, but it was ready fairly fast we thought. Overall very happy with our lunch and will return!

My bf got the fried chicken sandwich and loved it so much that he didn’t eat anything else we bought at the food carts! I had a bite, and I was impressed at how crisp the coating was and how juicy the meat was! I don’t think anything else was that great, esp the bun, but they nailed the chicken!

The BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. Perfectly crunchy and juicy — HUGE flavor — just wonderful. Put this on your must list for Portland. I got the sandwich with Pinento cheese and bacon. It’s a game changer. The fries are also really yummy!

The sandwich with everything is really good. The fries were a bit too salty though. Definitely coming back if I’m ever in the area and hungry.

All ii can say is AWESOME! The chicken sandwich w/fries def satisfied my tastebuds. I will definitely be coming back. So far, it’s the only real good food truck w/fried chicken that taste like your moms home cooked fried chicken. sh’t was good!

I ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese. It was a very large portion, very crispy. I think the pimento cheese could be blended better. Also — the bun that it was on wasn’t the best. This is an opportunity for improvement on something that’s already really good.

My husband and I have been in a food cart rut lately, always going to one of two carts that we know to be consistently good. Well, today we decided to step out of our comfort zone and randomly picked The Cluck Truck. We have a winner on our hands! The fried chicken sandwiches were DELICIOUS. Perfectly cooked white meat chicken with a tender, crisp crust on a soft, slightly sweet bun. You can tell they use high quality chicken. Even the accompanying tomato slice was juicy and delicious. We got one order with fries for a dollar extra, and one with the default chips. I must say the fries were okay, but not any better than the chips, so next time I’ll just stick to the default. Overall an excellent experience! Now we have three go-to food carts! Yay.

Stopped by here the other day because it was new and Wow! The fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese really hit the spot. I’m from the South and it was refreshing to find great pimento cheese in Portland. Will definitely be back!
