One and done. Hours say they are open at 0700. Nope. Went there and the hours are posted 0900. Went back at 0900. Nope, not open. Not sure how the food was, but they get a bad review from me for wasting my time.

Waited for 30 minutes for two burritos and four tacos. No biggie, I guess they were busy. Oh wait. No. There were three people inside, all of us waiting while they passed order after order through the drive through. Then, I get home to find that their 2 dollar shrimp tacos have NOTHINGONTHEM aside from two sad deep fried Costco breaded shrimp with the tails sticking out of them. Nothing else. The burritos were ok. Nothing special. If you’re going to this place, don’t order the tacos and don’t order in the restaurant.

I’ve been coming here since 2011 and have always been getting their breakfast burritos. I was bummed out that the prices raised to $ 5.99 for the three meats burrito. This time I decided to dine in and noticed their salsa bar had more options, which looked pretty fresh. There were a lot of people during the lunch hour so you can tell they have returning customers and constant business I ordered a sausage and cheese burrito and it was just as I expected, Good. Although I wish the cheese was melted a bit more. Overall, I’ll come here again and get more burritos.

Soooo NASTY in I love Mexican food. I couldn’t even eat two bites. Someone told me it was disgusting but I tried anyways because it was late and nothing else was open. I got chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and a side of two tacos to go. It looked like slop when I opened it and tasted horrible. I threw all my food away because it seemed like it would give me food poisoning that’s how bad it was. NEVERAGAIN will I go there not even for their water.

As a non-bean eating vegetarian(I know) the fact this place has breakfast burritos all day and it’s a 5 minute walk from home is the BEST. $ 4 for an egg and cheese burrito, the drive thru is slow but the food is freshly cooked. My S.O. didddd find a piece of plastic in his bean and cheese burrito once, but pulled it out and continued eating cause it was still delicious. Pretty legit spot

I love the Al Pastor, taco or burrito it is always the best. The asada and chicken are OK but the al pastor is where it’s at. The sides are pretty large(I usually get beans and rice for the kids) and are always consistent. Wait times can vary, the drive thru gets crowded around lunch time most days(the wait is well worth it). I haven’t tried much else besides tacos and burritos, but the rest of the menu looks alright. 100% try to adobada/al pastor, you won’t be disappointed.

I had 3 sopes and 1 shrimp taco, and a small jaimca. My bill was $ 15.75. Way over priced, they honored my request to not deep fry. i feel ripped off the sopes come with beans cheese, lettuce tomatoe, they charge you extra for avocado. What extra money! when your paying $ 3.00 or $ 3.50 for each sope. Also if you want chillis torreados they charge you, if i temember correctly they charged me $ 1.00 for 2 chillis torreados. Ha those chillis cost close to nothing and they charge you. Also my drink was $ 2.50 for a small with no refill. Why do they charge these prices. My sopes were vegetarian no meat. and the taste of the food was ok tasted like very processed food. i was hoping for fresh great tasting food, especially for spending so much money. My shrimp taco consisted of 2 breaded deep fried shrimp placed on 1 small corn tortilla. Another mistake. Sorry i can not recommend this place way over priced for lack luster food.

HORRIBLEHORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. I was told on the phone that our to go order was $ 20.48. We come to pick up our order through the drive through and was charged $ 22.48. I knew all the prices of our items quesadilla($ 5.50), burrito($ 4.99), and shrimp enchilada combo($ 9.99) so I said something about it and GUADALUPE F or CYNTHIA(as stated on receipt) said I don’t know. When asked for a receipt she pushed it in my boyfriends hand rudely. As we were looking at it and stated that the prices are wrong and we were overcharged she slammed the window on us while we were talking and walked away. Like are you serious!!! She knew she did it on purpose and didn’t know what to do because she got caught. She was probably mad she didn’t get tipped but I don’t tip unless deserved. ANDHELLNO she didn’t. Not good at all. Got a Shrimp cocktail with only 4 shrimps. I’m not a picky eater but I would expect a little more than just 4 shrimp and a bunch of tomato and onion mixed in warm water.

Great breakfast burritos! The three meat breakfast burrito is seriously the best breakfast burrito in Rockwood. It’s annoying that they constantly raise their prices but I’ll always come back.

Came by at 11pm last night. Got the shredded beef quesadilla and pork burrito. Food was decent 2⁄5 stars. Convenience 4⁄5 stars(it’s opened until 2am). Time on the toilet(1.3 hours) 0⁄5 stars. I knew I should have tipped them even though I picked up the food in the drive thru :(

So thoroughly disgusted while eating here last night that I wanted to firebomb the house of any reviewer who gave this place more than one star. Either everyone has never been to Mexico before, or the team at Unilocal has a hidden camera in the parking lot so they can laugh at suckers like me follow their reviews into the store for a proper punking. Check out my uploaded picture of their shrimp taco. My girlfriend threw up about an hour after we left. Shittier than shit itself. Except for the guac maybe. And the four nachos they give you with it.

This place has been a favorite for years. I’m not sure what happened, but yesterday I found the tacos pretty disappointing.

The location is unassuming, if not a little dumpy.(Everything in Rockwood is pretty dumpy). However, I have been coming here for about six years and have never had a bad experience. I always get the same thing because it is the best I have had anywhere in the Portland area. Do yourself a favor and get their wet burrito with carne asada(used to be called the rico burrito). I always ask for a chile relleno along with the steak and then smother it with salsa, pico de gallo, and cilantro from their salsa bar. Their enchilada sauce is homemade and has a creaminess to it that is out of this world. The inside of the burrito is filled with delicious rice, beans, steak, onion, and large wedges of hot tomato. The serving size is generous and the price is decent for what you get. My only complaint is that because what I ask for is not part of their normal menu, I have been charged various prices ranging from $ 7.50-$ 10.00 for the addition of the relleno. Because I feel like I am being a pain in the ass asking for extra stuff, I usually don’t say anything about the cost. I guess that says a lot… because that’s how freakin’ good this burrito is. I wish I could say more about their items, but I can’t. I live for this damn burrito. I dream about it at night. I drive from Milwaukie to Gresham to get it. I can’t help it. That amazing sauce smothering the burrito in deliciousness can not be resisted. I can say that friends of mine have come in with me and got their own items and always thought their food was delicious as well. We have never walked out disappointed. Other pros to this little restaurant is that there are always Hispanic families eating there. The food tastes so authentic, even though I know my burrito technically is not. I also notice that they overhauled their menu within the last year or so, making the menu more attractive with pictures and simplifying things. They also make their own tortillas with a little machine behind the counter and you can watch them do that sometimes. They keep the restaurant pretty clean. Although they are always pretty busy, I’ve never had to wait long for my to-go order.

Food is always fast and tastes Great. Good value for your money also. Nice thing is that over the years they have kept making improvements and updates to their building. I think it shows they really care about the whole experience for their customers.

Not bad fast food Mexican. When you are tired of Taco Bell and want something with a bit more variety you should try this place. The carnitas burrito was good with beans and rice. The grease did pool to the bottom of the burrito by the time I was finished eating it. Made for a bit of a mess but what can ya do. The salsa bar had a good variety but they were all to spicy for me.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Gresham! The shrimp tostadas are gloriously fresh and flavorful. Tacos are on point, soft or hard. Breakfast burrito will fill you up for the entire day! Awesome salsa bar. Perfectly blended horchatta and even a drive thru!

I have eaten here at least a dozen times and never had bad food or bad service. They are fast and pleasant. The burritos are HUGE and they have a fresh salsa and condiment bar, including fresh sliced limes, yum! When you walk into a Mexican restaurant and 99% of the customers are hispanic you know the food is going to be good. I don’t like Americanized food, I like authentic real food and this place has it. My co-workers all rave about how awesome the breakfast burritos are, but I haven’t tried one yet. I can only guess that they’re as delicious and filling as the regular burritos. They even have a drive-thru. But, I enjoy going in and getting fresh salsa(several varieties) from the salsa bar.

This review is 0 stars! What sort of universe do we live in to where a mexican food restaurant puts a soft taco shell on a stove for 40 seconds, deep frys two breaded shrimp, then places them onto said tortilla and presents it to me like ‘its a shrimp taco’ WTF??? FWIW I also used the legal advice and got the carnitas burrito too as insurance.

I ate here twice during a recent trip to Portland to find a place to live. While I was dubious about the«fast food,» «chain» appearance of the place, the food won me over. My first visit was for dinner. I had the birria combination platter(and I must have the worst Spanish pronunciation in the world, because the clerk kept hearing«burrito»; I actually I think the clerk couldn’t believe a gringo wanted the birria, LOL!). I took the food to-go, as I wanted to watch the Oscars. I was very pleasantly surprised by 1) homemade tortillas, 2) well-flavored and tender birria, 3) three excellent salsas, and 4) abundant rice and beans. I had my food within five minutes of ordering, and once the communication issues were behind me, the staff were competent and friendly. The food was so good, I returned for breakfast a couple days later. I saw lots of versions of huevos ranchero, and asked if they had a version«con chorizo.» They did, and I dined in. Again, the food was ready within five minutes, and this time, by dining in, I could visit the exceptional salsa bar. The flavors of everything were right on target. My only complaint is that the eggs were cooked harder than I prefer. I’m sure I’ll be returning occasionally once I relocate to Portland.
