The best place in Portland to stop in and get a growler fill. Amazing selection, great prices, open to recommendations, and a growler fill happy hour every day! Incredible ciders as well as beers. And while they’ve had some rude employees in the past, the owner works a lot now and is the sweetest, kindest, most helpful lady you’ll ever meet. Come support this amazing local beer and cider joint!

I really want to like this place because the owner is super nice and it seems as though she is making a genuine effort to improve the store, but I’ve just had too many problems with the quality of the products here and the customer service from other employees that I can’t see myself returning. The first problem came a few months ago when I grabbed a carrot and ranch packet out of their refrigerator. Out of habit, I looked at the expiration date and sure enough it had expired. I sifted through all the other packets and they were expired as well. When I brought it to the attention of the clerk, she didn’t seem particularly concerned about it, didn’t go look at the items in the fridge and didn’t apologize for the oversight. She just went about her work. Then last week I stopped in the store in the morning to discuss with the owner the growler fill situation. It sounded like a great deal and there were a few beers I was interested in, so I returned later that afternoon with my growler. A different clerk was working at this time, and I asked to sample two of the beers. Both the beers were flat. Not just a little flat, but almost completely flat. When I told the clerk about it, she said, «Oh, must be the end of the keg». She asked if I wanted to try another, and I didn’t. Perhaps they aren’t busy enough to go through an entire keg before it goes flat? I’d rather take my growler to a location with fresher kegs and a larger selection.

This place is my favorite convince store ever. The selection is wonderful, and the customer service feels like you’re just in your backyard. It’s a nice, clean facility, and sells great stuff such as growlers, nice wines, healthy food/drink, and more!

Terrible experience with the cashier who I think is the owner too! Sharron was not only racist, condescending, arrogant, demanding and rude. I stop in here almost everyday because the gentleman that typically works there is super friendly and helpful but after that horrible experience never again! And to top it off she said she didn’t care if I ever came back anyway. Wow! Apparently she doesn’t need customers to buy her overpriced products. I’ll sure miss the morning guy that works there but definitely not going to waste a penny at this place.

Don’t let the name confuse you. It may look and sound like a convenience store, but it’s actually an almost boutique experience. They don’t cater to just snack seekers, although they do have plenty of snacks. They do include many healthier snack options as well, and at a better price than I would imagine at a convenience store. Oh and they have Duck growlers! Go see for yourself how they are different. They will be stocking designer chocolates soon too. And no, I don’t work for them, don’t even know their names… I just appreciate their presence in an area where local employees need more choices.
