Swan Island Basin

Where is the FISH?
I went to Swan Island for fishing, I was told that there were carps, trout, and bass. I got none of the above. In fact, like 7 other fishers there, I got nothing!
DISAPPOINTED! The lake itself, is strange. The water level this year, has went up at least 3 FEET! Due to the high water level, there wasnt much places of fish off of. There was a deck, but you would have to cast for away. There are some slight sandy shores, but it still didnt work due to the unexpected rise of water.
However I saw a lot of duckies. I saw at least 10! I don’t want ducks. I want fish!!!
The location itself is semi isolated. On the drive there, you will past a lot of big factories. I passed a huge UPS and fedex. This area is a lot of industrial stuff. At the McDonalds nearby, there were huge trucks park there. Anyways the park itself has a portable potty. There is a parking area that fits about 15 cars. This place has a deck so people can go boating. There is no food stand like Blue lake though.
