Starbucks

Glad that lots of the former baristas are gone… they were bad! Great manager still.

Worst Starbucks that I have ever been to! FLIES IN THEIR FOOD. Walked in in the early evening cuz my friend wanted to get a quick snack and sit down after walking around in the old port. When she was looking at the bakery session, she saw tiny little flies inside and loving some chocolate dish. We saw at least 4 with our bare eyes and it’s disturbing! I decided to tell the people who works there and all she did was looked at me carelessly and said «okay, thank you»; did nothing about it and continued to take the order from the one and only person behind me while there was another person working in the cashier. From the look of it, both me and my friend think that she knows there is flies in it all along. She made me start to doubt the overall quality of Starbucks and I seriously hate this.

This is my fave ‘bucks in Portland! The staff is always super friendly and upbeat — they even serenaded me one morning! It pretty much made my day. They also know me by name now (and they even spell my name correctly on my cup) and I’ve only been going there for a couple weeks. I’m big on customer service, and this place really gets it! They only thing I wish they had is more organic coffee/​espresso options… and organic milk for the espresso drinks. I’d come in every single morning if I could get my favorite drinks with some organic ingredients.

I was needing to kill sometime prior to picking someone up today and this Starbucks was right in front if my car so I grabbed a cappuccino. As Starbucks espresso is at the bottom of my list compared to the many other coffee roasters in Portland. It never ceases to amaze me how poor it really can be. I ordered a tall aka small and I know there wasn’t a shot if espresso and steamed milk as I picked up the cup and maybe at most a ¼ fluid. I literally scooped out the foam to see. I even had a laugh with the guy next to me looking in at the bottom of the cup…
