Starbucks unlike the more local shops is a chain coffee shop offering coffee, baked goods, and goods. The coffee is fine but the prices are ridiculous. Coffee should not cost more than a loaf of bread. They do offer great customer service and is a great space for students and business folks to come and work on projects or meet up. If your looking for affordable, unique, or organic this is not the place. But if your looking for atmosphere it is awesome!

I couldn’t find the door because most of the windows and door was boarded up. I went in with a Starbucks coffee cup that I intended to fill… As soon as I emptied my bladder. I asked a young man where the restroom was, and he stopped mopping the floor and said«you must purchase first». I was disappointed and humiliated at the same time. I decided to get my coffee elsewhere as I looked for a place to relieve myself. I also contemplated throwing rocks through the remaining windows. I wouldn’t be surprised if there windows were broken because of the way they treat their customers. I later found another Starbucks down by the water. And that’s where I purchased my coffee for the duration of my vacation.

It’s taken me years, but I now know when to come to this Starbucks: 1. Right before the First Friday art walk starts. 2. Immediately after the First Friday art walk ends. 3. Late at night before they close. This Starbucks is in a seriously high traffic area(think about it; it’s smack dab in one of the highest population areas of all of the state of Maine), so it’s usually very busy. Because it’s usually very busy, it isn’t always the cleanest… that makes sense, right? So come in here EXPECTING wrappers on the floor, sugar all over the counter, sticky spots on tables. Set that as your bar, and when it’s not like that… you’re going to be AMAZED at how clean it is! I agree with others, the customer service here is lacking — but not before First Friday(when they are strangely quiet… people are still in work or at happy hour), not after First Friday(when they are strangely quiet… people are now at restaurants drinking), and not any time of the week right before they close. I have had some of the best, most humorous, most profound interactions with the employees here minutes within their closing time. I’ve also gotten some of my best drinks then since I’m usually the only customer and they’re in «clean up and toss» mode(you know what I’m saying?). Regardless, Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks. To me, the coffee and espresso pretty much taste exactly the same if you’re in Portland, ME or… I don’t know… the Midwest. So if you’re going in for something super basic, you’re all set.

This is my Starbucks 200 feet from my front door with a lot of indoor seating and a wonderful outdoor patio across the street that also has free WiFi. Service has probably been an average of four stars. But as with many things location location location… Still that is not was earned the five-star rating. Allowing me to bring my dog in with me if i am just grabbing a quick to go drink is what made it round from 4 up to a solid 5. I realize the outdoor seating technically does not belong to starbucks but it still directly across the street so patrons do have the choice of sitting outdoors. So far the only real downers have been one of the male openers. Devoid of any personality and cant even joke a smile or smirk or gee a grimmace even out of the short fry. I realize 5am is early to come to work but YOUWORKAT A COFFEESHOP!!! Drink the leaded please! And a drive thru would of been nice albiet impossible lol. Very friendly about quarters for parking too thanks!

I had a very pleasant experience at this Starbucks location. It’s conveniently located, the staff is very friendly and the drinks are made right. I ordered an Americans with steamed coconut milk. My drink came out ping hot(not always the case) and the espresso tasted just right — I’ve had an issue with burnt tasting espresso as of late.

The coffee was fine. The barista took a whole lot of time to take orders as they were having a personal/flirtatious conversation with someone who already had their coffee. Then I ordered and attempted to use the bathrooms. They told me they were not available for the rest of the evening with a lot of attitude and no apology. I wouldn’t recommend this Starbucks to people I hate.

Typical Starbucks inside, but it does reside in a cool original building. It’s similar to the shape and street orientation of the Flatiron Building in NYC(obviously way smaller though). Seems a bit more limited than other SBs I’ve visited, and the AT&T wifi is a tad disappointing(to me, one of my high priorities I have when considering coffee shops) Coffee was fairly on point: not exceptional, not disappointing(what can I say here? It’s a freaking SB for Pete’s sake!)

This is the closest Starbucks to my home and work and I go pretty frequently. I went one time & they were out of decaf iced coffee and he made me an iced americano at no charge. That was nice but… can’t you just have what I want on hand? I’ll be back though. Parking can be problematic.

Good location, decent amount of seating, and quick service. but the floors and tables are disgustingly gross. one of the worse ones I’ve seen. if they cleaned up a little bit, it would be a great store

The location is in a great corner. Easy to find but parking can be hard. The manager, Isaiah, is amazing! The store has taken over a new leaf since he’s been managing it. Service is great and the drinks are always on point. The cleanliness of the store is above clean. They just got remodeled and it can only make this, already great, store only better. A good business reflects its leader and, Isaiah, is a great leader by the standards that the store is perceived by.

This Starbucks has the worst customer service I have ever had. The guy making the drinks was too distracted by the young girls that he messed up my drink. When I asked him to make it correctly he gave me attitude and said I ordered it wrong and was not going to make me another one. He fixed it after another worker told him to fix it. This has happened many times at this store and it is always the same guy that is the problem. It’s worth the extra few block walk to Arabica coffee.

Very clean, spacious store with very friendly people working here. The line moved quickly, and even the breakfast sandwiches were served up relatively quickly. There’s even a kids section with toys and books.

Okay so it’s a Maine thing, but they are just so damn nice. Like nicer than the fake nice barista’s in regularville. My only complaint is the A/C. I ordered an iced latte and I’m wearing my fleece. Maybe they are trying to keep the lobsters cold? Lots of seating. Free wifi(ok so three people to steal from) and some outside tables. I’m sure there is some great local coffee shop, but I don’t have a fancy phone to look it up yet… perhaps a goal for tomorrow? local coffee shop?
