I went in for massage.
Ashely is the best. I’ve been to see her multiple times and referred five or six people who have also had great experiences. She quickly finds your problem areas and gets right to work.
I spend a lot of time riding and racing bicycles so I went in for my legs, back, and psoas. She can work you as hard as you need, and harder than you could have imagined. She’s also capable of a gentler touch if that’s what you’re looking for.
Besides the coffee, she’s what I miss most about Portland (I moved to Denver).
Sooze is also in a great location that’s easy to get to and not impossible to find a parking spot.

Usually I have a lot of irritation after any waxing treatment: red bumps, ingrown hairs, red skin. I warned Sooze and she took great care of me. This was by far the best wax treatment I’ve ever had. She’s kind and funny and calming, but also very precise about her treatments. As for the treatment, it was the closest thing to painless you can get in that situation. There was, of course, a little bit of irritation for a day or two, but nothing like my previous experiences. Sooze was fantastic, and the treatment was more than I could have ever expected!

So after my inspirational facial with Sooze, I decided to trust her with my eyebrows and am so I glad I did. Sooze is so caring and deliberate and of course it shows in her work. I’ve seen and heard so many eyebrow waxing horror stories and though I knew nothing of the sort would happen in Sooze’s palace of beautiful skin, I was still slightly apprehensive.
Of course, she did a better job than I ever have done on myself with the tweezers and now I’m addicted. So in addition to über-​relaxing facials, I’m now a dedicated fan of über-​relaxing waxing. (Hey, alliteration!)
Sooze, you rock.
