I was enjoying Farmer’s Market at OHSU on July 1 and decided to check out this jerky. The guy was proud of his product and he was entitled to as the product seems like great. It is all handcrafted and from scratch using real fruit and with no sugars, additives, or preservatives. and it is all Paleo, Primal, Gluten-free blah blah blah etc. Which is all fine for me. Just for me, Jerky is supposed to be a healthy junk food(again just for me) and it tasted too healthy for me to enjoy it. It didn’t taste THAT great. So I joked«well… it just tastes too healthy for me. :) « And then this guy got all worked up and became all defensive about it and gave me a lecture saying well it’s all good and healthy and tasty, right? so why don’t you want them? I am Flexitarian which means eat organic and vegan at home but when I am out, I eat everything as long as they are not fast food or junk food. I wasn’t saying I was not going to buy it or I did not like the product, and I really did not appreciate that Portland attitude from that jerky guy.

Awesome Jerky! It’s great that there’s a jerky that’s grass fed and doesn’t have junk in it. Some one mentioned spicy beef, but that seems to be under coming soon. Anyways I really liked the jerky I had, I got the variety pack and got a free pack of chocolate covered jerky with it.
