Terrible terrible customer service. I came in with my diesel vehicle and asked for $ 30 of diesel. Now I had converted it from a gas vehicle to diesel, and I clearly stated to the attendant, his name is Arturo, that I wanted $ 30 cash of diesel.
I had partially peeled of the decal on my fuel door that said unleaded fuel only and I had also converted the filler neck to a diesel only filler neck as to not get the nozzles mixed up from the pump. While talking to my wife and four children in the car my wife noticed that the wrong fuel hose was in our tank. I got out of the vehicle and went to the back and asked attendant if he had put in diesel. Then I looked at the hose in my tank and saw that it was for regular gasoline. Ugh! this is bad. A diesel vehicle can over-​rev or blow up from gasoline in its system.
any gas station attendant should know the dangers about mixing the wrong fuel in a vehicle and how to determine which is needed based on the nozzle size and the filler neck size, which fuel is going to be used. Arturo showed me that there was still a partial «unleaded fuel only» sticker on my fuel door. He says i told him «regular». At first Arturo told his manager that I said «regular”(lie). Then after talking to the district manager Arturo changed his story, saying «I asked him twice if he wanted regular.»
The district manager Brandi, started of very condescending toward me and actually argued with me that what her attendants story is what she is going to go with and mostly because of the partial «unleaded fuel only» decal on the fuel door. Any trained gas station attendant should know the difference in fuel filler necks and which fuel goes into them. The verbal order for which fuel type the vehicle uses should override anything else.
Arturo lied and did not verify with me about which fuel to put in my tank. Then my kids in the car heard him gossip about our situation to nearly every other customer near us. My wife verified this by going up to a customer after Arturo was done and asking her if he had been gossiping about us. Sure enough, he had been giving out his tale of deceit to anybody that would listen. Probably to bolster his lie.
I have been waiting 3 hours for the assistant V.P. for Jacksons food & gas in Seattle, Joe Shaftman to call me back with a conclusion. I told him that the video surveillance would visually corroborate with my account and the sequence of events I stated, compared to Arturos, even though there is no audio. The video does not show Arturo coming back to verify with me, only me going back after the damage was done. All I want is the gasoline siphoned out if my tank and replaced with diesel. Ugh! This should be so simple. Just good old fashoined customer service.
Update. My wife went to the Shell on se 39^th and stark yesterday and made sure that she was going to get diesel. The attendant affirmed her by saying «anybody could tell this was a diesel by how it sounds and look the fuel filler is diesel only, see it’s got a large opening.» THEN… CHECK THIS OUT! The attendant gave her a green plastic ring labeled «DIESEL FUEL ONLY» to put on the filler neck as a courtesy. Wow, awesome customer service! What a contrast.

Gas station worked as advertised. They put gas in my car, now it moves when I push on the accelerator. All around success story.

One star but come on what can you expect. It’s a crummy little gas station with a couple old guys that tend the pumps. The one fella is great to talk to in the late night hours. It seems he was in the airforce a long long time ago so he knows pretty much everything about everything. You have goofy fellas inside that act like they are kings since they don’t actually pump the gas. Dirty bathrooms. Slow service. And in the end you still get the same gas as anyplace in about the same time so, you know what, I am gonna give them two stars now. If you need gas this place is better than the little station a block north and much better than the chevron a mile east. So why not get it here. All the same price all the same gas.

Okay, I really needed gas!!! My gas light had been on for awhile and DIDN’T want to run out. I pulled into the gas station and had to wait for the car in front of me. Wasn’t too bad but I say if you don’t have to pump your own gas you should be ready once the pump is taken out of your car to get going once you get your receipt. But, no, this person was very slow, very unprepared. So, then I pull up. There is maybe two other cars and only one attendant. I think, «Okay, I’m next.» I see a gesture saying ‘I’ll be right there”. Then I see him go in and out of the store and lock the door behind him each time. Sometimes just staring out the window. I’m wondering, «what’s going on?» So, I wait and I wait. Nothing. Meanwhile someone else pulls up behind me. I wait a little longer. Finally I get out, close my gas tank door and take off. Worried I might not make it home, I finally reach another gas station…
