Seastar Community Acupuncture

This was my first acupuncture experience, and I ended up here because the acupuncture clinic I was sent to didn’t have any openings and I needed to see someone ASAP. At the end of the day I’m really pleased that I was directed here, as I had a wonderful experience.
I have a truly horrible phobia of needles, but was desperate to get my labor started naturally to avoid being induced. I only had time to make it into two appointments, and while I didn’t end up going into labor I did have lots of contractions and attribute the progress my body did make to the treatments I received here. Katherine was very kind and understanding and made a scary experience very enjoyable. She also is an experienced Midwife so I felt very comfortable with her performing this treatment. This is a community clinic, so both times I was there several other customers were also being treated. It was nice and quiet and the chairs were very comfy. Most of all I appreciated the sliding scale fee. If I had gone to the originally recommended clinic I would have had the same result but have shelled out twice the cash.
I would absolutely go back if the need ever came up, and I would recommend Seastar to anyone looking for an affordable and experienced acupuncture practitioner.
