Like another reviewer, my boyfriend and I ordered through delivered dish. He wanted calamari and I wanted Pad Thai, but I was nervous after reading that the reviewer had trouble with those exact items. I’m glad we gave it a shot. Calamari comes with deep fried onions which was a pleasant surprise. Dipping sauce was sweet and light, and the calamari traveled well. Ddish brought our food within 45 minutes of ordering, so as the other reviewer pointed out, time likely makes a big difference. Pad Thai was great, but a little spicy. I ordered mild, next time I will order no spice. I’m not a spicy food person at all, so this is definitely my bad and not the restaurant’s. On Ddish, I asked for a side of peanut sauce for the Pad Thai and they provided one. It was a little small, but delicious! Boyfriend also got the Udon which he enjoyed. Sushi prices were a bit high I felt, but the hot food items were really reasonable. I’m glad we tried them!

Oof… My husband and I ordered from ddish and after having to wait 90 minutes for the food to arrive we were sincerely disappointed. We ordered the calamari and pad Thai with chicken, I can safely say don’t order either of these. Perhaps they cooked both dishes the second the order went in and then had it sit for an hour or so because that’s the quality delivered tonight. The calamari is tempura fried with a Thai chili sauce, hardly any sauce was given and these poor little guys desperately needed it for any remote chance at being flavorful. They were also extremely soggy, not surprising due to a fried item being delivered, but the extreme lack of flavor was made even more evident by this. We had looked forward to the pad Thai the most, a dish that I’m not sure I’ve ever had a bad experience with. They managed to completely botch it tonight though, so much in fact that it was near inedible. Dry, the driest of all dry, like eating shoe laces. Then absolutely no flavor and with the noodles already being severely under dressed the immensely over cooked chicken aided in creating an all around flop of a dish. The theme tonight seemed to be flavor, or I should say, lack there of. It was unfortunate, we decided to try this place out because of all the positive reviews and for paying roughly $ 30 for inedible food I’d advise perhaps dining-in(if you’re seriously wanting to try this establishment) but absolutely not ordering delivery.

I’ve never written a Unilocal Review(or any other review for that matter), but this place deserves to be acknowledged for it’s outstanding food as well as its owner/hostess/chef extraordinaire. I’m a picky eater when it comes to Asian fare, but the food was delicious. You can be as conservative or daring as you want, and I guarantee you will come back wanting more! Personally, I plan on becoming a regular!

The woman working in the front was very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty. I crunched on some egg shell(I know because I took it out of my mouth and saw) in one bite of my pad see ew – there is egg in it. But it was only a tiny bite at the end that had it, so I’m not mad… I will return, but I’ll inspect my food a little closer next time… The person I came with enjoyed their basil chicken.

First off, the customer service is awesome. The owner is extremely sweet and always asks how I’ve been and how work/school is going. She is eager to please, and doesn’t mind alterations(such as no broccoli or no tofu) that myself or my company has requested. She has been updating the interior of the building, so the environment is definitely improving, but honestly the food quality is more important to me. I was hesitant to go here after hearing poor reviews about the previous owners, but I’m incredibly thrilled I gave it a shot. Sake II is now the source of my favorite yellow curry. Definitely give this place a shot, it won’t disappoint.

You gotta try it! I rate off 3 things; 1)Quality of food 2)Quality of service 3)Atmosphere Sake II hits the mark on all three! It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and friendly and delicious every time! I don’t think there is a bad item on the menu and I have a wonderful experience every visit. Best kept secret on the hill!

Food wasn’t bad but it was not exactly what I expected when I pay 9.50 for fried rice and chicken. The portion was very small far as chicken goes pretty much was a small small foil to go container full of rice with a little bit of egg and couple pieces of chicken. The place located in this building before was equally disappointing. Most likely will stick the to place across the street yummy thai for cheaper eats and bigger portions with equal the flavor.

So, this is my new favorite restaurant. I’ve been in twice and the food was good. She even remembered me. It was cool. As far as I can tell it’s just 2 people running the place and one is the cook. So, be patient. The drawings on the walls are cool. It’s a cool place.

Found a piece of plastic in my child’s dinner! Curry was good, but noodles & chicken were salty and portions were small! And holy bamboo shoots!!! I’ve never seen so many in these types of dishes before. Would have rather had veggies!!!

Most delightful service I have ever experienced. Delicious foods; we got the Pad See Eu(excellent!) and the kimchi ramen(very tasty). Good price. Decent atmosphere. We have a place right nearby and expect this will be a weekly affair, if not more. Edit: My wife and I have been back a dozen times now and we always love our service(the woman who works here is delightful!) and trying the interesting(and constantly changing) specials. My wife comes here for lunch sometimes, and she says it is much busier than in the evening, so the service is less social, but still good.

We live and work on the hill and there are very limited choices(beyond the Hospital’s cafes) to eat. Granted, now the two places outside the hospital have Thai(this place and the food cart) but I have eaten at both and this place is much better/higher quality. Their Gyoza apps are awesome! We’ve also enjoyed their drunken noodle and a variety of soups. The service is super friendly and service is quick. I highly recommend!

What a great experience! I work up on the hill, and the food choices here are limited. The new restaurant and owner is so sweet. When I walked in to order to-go, she served me some Thai tea and gave a bowl of fresh tom-kah soup while I wait. I ordered an order of the tom-kah soup with shrimp and salad rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was made fresh to order, quickly, and tasted delicious. The ambiance is very fun, relaxed, and inviting. I’ll be back!

The recent transition from old owners to new is a refreshing change. I was scared to eat there until I saw the change. The quality is first rate and preparation is superb!

My boyfriend and I live on the hill and decided to give this place a try and I have to say it was much better than I was expecting! It was literally empty when we walked in which made us a little apprehensive but I’m glad we went. The owner is very sweet and genuinely interested in your feedback because she wants return customers. I got the Pad Kee Mao with chicken and my bf got the basil sauce with Pork. They don’t skimp on the protein here, and the dinner portions are enormous. We both got it medium spicy which was spicier than I’ve had at most places but what I want when I order medium. We also tried the Kimchi which was also very good. We’ll definitely be going back once they have their full menu going and she said she was going to be having a happy hour as well!

A brand new Thai restaurant close to OHSU area. Definitely a good addition to the area which doesn’t have any restaurant besides OHSU cafeteria… at all, especially on the weekend. This restaurant replaces Rattikran Thai cuisine. Been there twice so far and happy with the food and service. I was there on the weekend and the restaurant was basically run by one lady who is the owner/waitress/chef. She is very nice and friendly. The ambiance is quite relaxing and not busy yet. She did say more staff were coming though. I got to try Pad Thai, Pad see ew, and chicken peanut sauce so far. All are good and flavorful. As I live by OHSU, it would surely save me a trip to Thai restaurants downtown. The portion is just right, not too big or too small. The price is also affordable. If you live and/or work close to OHSU, this place is definitely worth a go.
