Royalton Place

My grandmother has lived here since 2009. It’s gotten worse and worse every year. In 2012, one of their employees stole all of my grandmother’s valuable jewelry from her (then independent living) apartment. It was over 40,000 in jewelry. It was all that she owned of value. A police report was filed, but nothing ever came of it. There was not so much as an apology or a free month’s rent. There are a couple of employees who have been there for a very long time and are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, everything else about Royalton Place is awful. We’re looking forward to the day that we can move her out of there and in with us. Until then, we just have to watch closely to ensure that her needs are met because they certainly won’t. Don’t let your loved one’s move in here. The management and owners care about money not about people.

Had a tour and it was amazing. I have visited many memory care communities and usually most of the people are very complacent with lost stares into space. Not where anyone wants to end up. It shows that Ann and Desiree worked really hard to make Royalton Place a nice home for folks with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. I have never seen a more active group other than the ones still living at home. It is also great there is an adjoining Assisted Living so a couple can live together when one has memory issues. It is awesome the care and love that shows through from the staff. Great job!
