This hidden gem food cart is run by a super friendly wife & husband duo. They service some of the best value sandwich of any cart downtown. The sandwiches are really the star of this cart & I would recommend any without reservations. Also they have great combo meals of sandwiches with soup or salad that is one of the best lunch meal deals of any cart downtown. Costumer service is though the roof from this husband & wife wonder team. They remembered my name the second time I visited the cart even though it was several months after my first I stopped by.

I had the Cubano sandwich. It was good but I wouldn’t say it was the best cubano sandwich I have ever had. The pork was a bit dry and heavy on the mustard. If you are looking for a really good cubano go to Cubo de Cuba around the corner. Get their version with yummy tostones.

A standout among the hundreds of food carts in Portland. A charming couple operates this business providing very fresh, clean, delicious food. The Cubano sandwich is delicious for a treat, but in interest of reducing my bread consumption I usually get one of their enormous green salads heaped with either ham or roasted chicken. This simple dish is next to impossible to find as well executed elsewhere. This salad is hearty and tasty and fits perfectly into any healthy diet.

Yes! A solid sandwich place in PDX. I got the Pesto Chicken and my face hole was pleasantly greeted by a huge sammich with pulled roasted chicken, fresh tomatoes, melty provolone cheese, and basily pesto. I was especially impressed with the fact that they didn’t give me a dry brick of chicken breast to choke down. The fowl was anything but foul to my tongue buds and I happily made everyone around me jealous as I nommed my lunch at work.

Flavorful, plentiful rotisserie sandwiches served up with good humor and family-run charm. Good value.

This is hands down one of the best food carts I’ve been to in a while. Eric and I split a cubano sandwich and me, normally not being a huge cubano fan, LOVED this sandwich! The salty ham, melty cheeses, perfect pickle ratio and perfectly grilled bread made my tastebuds tingle. I really can’t want to go back and try all of the menu items. Also — talk about value. All of their meat is high quality and they charge $ 8 a sandwich — which may seem like a lot until you see THESIZEOFTHESANDWICH. Jeeze — they’re huge!(That’s what she said) — I mean, wait, who said what? Oh, she said the sandwich was delicious and she wanted another one but she was too full so she’s going to have to go back and have it again. And again and again and again. …and again.

I love this cart! Out of all the carts in Portland this is one of my favorites! The chicken pesto sandwich is killer and I’ve heard the cubano is good too. The owners are so nice and friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order =).

We stopped by the food trucks on our way out of Portland yesterday and had the really unique experience of choosing wisely at two trucks that stood next to each other — pretty rare! I went for the Carolina BBQ on the left(check my review) and the hubs went for Rotissol & Greens on the right. He chose a soup of the day(white bean) and the chicken pesto(chicken, spinach, tomato, provolone cheese, and Mama’s own herb medley pesto, served on a fresh grilled pub roll) sandwich. The soup was good, but the sandwich was the star of the meal. I believe, at one point, that the hubs actually growled at me when I asked for a taste. He did not want to share even a single morsel. I did, however, manage to snag a bite of the sandwich before it was gobbled up. Let me tell you, as someone who enjoys making her own pesto, Mama makes a mean pesto — delicious! As we were discussing the food trucks this morning, he was wanting to hop in the car and head back to Portland for another chicken pesto sandwich. Well, it’s 9:30am in Seattle so heck, we’d arrive just in time for lunch. Side note: While the menu looked amazing and the folks inside were wonderfully friendly, something about the name«Rotissol» seems unappetizing — too much like Pine-sol or some other industrial-strength cleaner, perhaps? Totally digressing here, but for those who might feel the same, the name might be off-putting and folks might be inclined to go elsewhere and miss out on a great meal experience, which would be a huge bummer.

Here is all you need to know: this place has the best pork on the block. Rotisserie Carlton Farms pork and a must-try ham recipe. Both are worth the trip on their own, but they team up in a cubano sandwich that cannot be missed. It’s a slab of pork and a slab of ham, mustard, cheese and pickles. This is one of two carts at this pod that keeps me coming back time and time again.

This is a great place to grab lunch downtown. Everything they do is made from scratch with local and organic goods. So far i’ve had the cuban and the chicken pesto sandwich. Both were absolutely fantastic.
