Slow lines, rude staff. The checker yelled at me telling me she could«help the next person over here,» yeah I know, I am at your counter! After I paid for my items she told me to grab my receipt, off her machine. I have never had someone so lazy check me out.

Not very impressed with this Ross. It’s not terrible, but with such a good location they could do so much more to improve. First, I know Ross stores like to have loss prevention up front to make their presence known but the loss prevention counter is smack in the middle of the front entrance and it is very imposing. I understand they want to scare off potential criminals but that kind of thing doesn’t do much for people looking to steal. Instead it just gives off the vibe that you see all your customers as potential criminals, and no one likes to feel unwelcome in a place where they intend to spend money. The loss prevention guy was nice, but it doesn’t change the image they are portraying with this set up. Second, the shoe selection is very limited as compared to other Ross stores I’ve been to. Not a large selection at all. In fact, not even a small selection. Each size has about 8 – 12 styles of shoe to choose from. That’s very limited, and if they improve that they could boost their sales tremendously. In fairness, I didn’t walk the entire store, so I’m basing this review on this first experience and only on the departments I visited. I promise to return and give a more in depth review later this week, adjusting my rating accordingly.

Went in here the other day to find some work pants/slacks and I literally could not find anything. The racks were apparently all picked through of black junior sized slacks at 1pm on Monday. In fact, almost all of the junior clothes were picked through! There was literally nothing in my size at all! Also, you’re security guard at the door made me uncomfortable. I get that it’s a high-theft location, but he needs to at least stop acting all«macho». –_–

This has to be the top 3 worse Ross stores Ive been into. this place is all bad… for one its DIRTY there was pretty much nothing left on the racks and what was left was some outdated been kicked on the floor 50 times across the store and back XS shirt the layout of this place is wired the check out lines where long and the staff is rude the one star because you don’t find many Ross stores inside of a mall and i guess to a person like me who likes to get the shopping done in the same area this works out

Unbelievable. Conceivably a whole clothing store to choose from and I literally couldn’t find any clothes. The entire rack of women’s tops was about six feet long and almost completely devoted to one size. When I asked about it three separate times, I was directed to Maternity(I’m clearly not pregnant), Juniors(clearly not a teenager) and Plus Size(clearly not a large woman). I kept specifying that I was talking about regularly-sized women’s shirts and blouses, but literally everyone I asked gaped at me with their mouths half open like they had no idea what I was talking about. The dressing rooms are filthy, there were about four pairs of shoes left on the rack, the security guard stared off into space while a teenage girl clearly shoved a bunch of underwear into her purse and walked off. Not to mention the three seemingly ubiquitous screaming children. I’ll take the downtown location any time over this dump.

I have been to many a Ross in my time and my experiences have run the gamut, but I am usually able to find something redeeming about each location as far as their selection. Not the case this time unfortunately. I have never seen a more sparsely stocked store with absolutely 0 «finds» of any kind. Only the chincy and poorly interpreted trend clothing that is so common at these stores. Booooooo

Stores like Ross deal in remainders — so it is always a hit or miss proposition. The prices are better than Marshall’s or similar competitors, but their selection is more limited. I shop here regularly because they are about the only place that regularly has pants in my size — and at a discount. I also buy shoes here or at one of their other stores. Because selection varies between stores, if you don’t find what you need or want at this store, you may find it at one of their others. For instance, the other day I found a sleeve and carrying case for a netbook for 7.99 and 9.99 respectively at the Eastport one but not at this one. So, it is a good place to shop if you don’t need something specifically in a hurry. Unlike a lot of other places, the staff will leave you alone to browse. Be careful when buying shoes. I once bought a pair with mismatched sizes. They allowed me to return them for a refund, but it was still an annoyance.

If you look really hard, you ll get some cute dresses for really cheap. That is the only thing i shop for from here — dresses. I once tried getting hand wash from here. Never again!

Disgusting. I was at Ross the other night and while I was checking out one of the sales girls was cutting big holes in the clothes before throwing them away. I’ve heard of stores doing this before so if homeless people go through the trash and find the clothes they wont be able to wear them. I don’t know why Ross wouldn’t rather donate below retail quality garments to charitable organizations, but apparently that is not very high on its agenda.

I was really disappointed in this Ross. For one I had super high hopes because I saw that this location was a two story Ross and it was in the mall. Come on how can they now succeed? They just didn’t have that much selection to choose from. So this was a walk in and walk out experience.:(
