Right Now Heating and Cooling

Very poor communicators, did not receive calls, updates or any info about repairs, unacceptable in a commercial HVAC setting, tried to hire for a second job based on immediacy of need, but after talking to them again I decided I was better off with people who can follow directions and protocol– we will steer clear at this point based on poor attitude and bad phone manners alone.

I blew a plug with space heaters in my office. Jack came out the next day, took a look and installed a heating system within 24 hours. I am warm, no business interruption. Jack’s a pro and has the resources and smarts to bring you the best service at the best price and his timing is impeccable. They are all about service and getting to you quickly. They worked their butts off, cleaned up, and I am super happy.

During the 10 day heat wave our air conditioner which was about 15 years old decided to quit. I had called a couple of other companies who had done work for us before and didn’t get any return calls. This company answered the phone and while they were super busy over July 4 weekend they came within 2 days— pretty reasonable for a holiday and a weekend. I checked their bid price with comparable on line and they were right in the ball park PLUS they had the unit in the truck— they serviced my other downstairs air conditioner, inspected the furnace and did a careful job. They didn’t smash the plants on the way to installing the outside unit– attention to details is important in the finished product. This company is very professional, mission driven and competent. I really like them and found their prices to be totally in line so I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about. Certainly it’s no wonderful thing to replace broken mechanical things but it does happen. I signed up for maintenance and highly recommend this company.

Jack came and moved an electrical outlet for my stove. $ 375 for less than an hour worth of work on a non-​complicated item.
After he left, I discovered that he had plastered my furnace with multiple full page size stickers for his company, and tried to pull off the small name tag for my long established, credible furnace guy. He was not there to do anything with my furnace! Not his place to do that without asking! My (previously) clean grey furnace is in a semi finished part of my basement and this is a real eyesore.
I called to ask him to ask how to get the stickers off (they don’t pull off) and he was very unprofessional– basically said too bad, try whatever I wanted, and hung up.
Stay away from this company! It is one thing to make a mistake. Another to take no responsibility for it.

Our furnace quit during the morning on a Friday. After trying every trouble-​shooting trick that I knew, I called Right Now HVAC for help. They sent a fellow out to check the old furnace and after just a few minutes, he had analyzed the situation and determined $ 1,200 worth of parts would be needed to fix it. We decided on a new furnace. We had to struggle through the weekend without central heat but at 9 am on Monday, a crew of two showed up and installed a new furnace in about two hours! In addition to being efficient, they were also entertaining! We shared a lot of laughs during the process. What a delightful time during what could have been a real pain! It’s great to get good service along with pleasant people.

Terrific service! Right Now Heating and Cooling responded first thing to my early-​morning SOS email: my laundry room ceiling fan had died loudly the night before. Cat boxes are kept in the laundry room and mother-​in-​law is visiting, so it really was an SOS! Electrician Clint came over that afternoon and was knowledgeable, thorough, fast and friendly. He answered all my questions and was careful about protecting the washer and dryer (he stood on them to reach the ceiling). I’m very happy with my much-​better fan that has more «pull» as I’d requested. Thank you to Clint and the Right Now team, I won’t hesitate to call again for my home’s electrical needs.
