Raymond City Park

I absolutely love this place! My daughter & I have a blast here & everyone is so friendly!

It’s an ok park in an ok neighborhood. Wouldn’t leave my stuff unattended here. Be especially careful of escaped pit-​bulls! I see them all too regularly from bad owners. One mowed down on a couple neighborhood cats in front of me just a couple months ago. The park is nice however. Everything’s new. Lots of moms mid day. I do go here regularly.

I discovered this charming park while jogging the neighborhood. It is a lovely hidden little gem! I lived in the hood 4 years before I knew it existed.
I’ve been here every day of the week at different daylight times and there is always at least a few people. There are play structures, basketball, picnic tables, water playgrounds, benches, and a nice little asphalt path circling around the perimiter.
This playground is popular for families gathering for a BBQ or picnic, for birthday celebrations, and for, well, smoking pot. It doesn’t happen a lot, but from time to time I jog by teens on a bench or a couple on a blanket emitting that unmistakable smell. Just a heads’ up.
I have never ever felt uncomfortable here by myself during daylight. Stop by and enjoy this green oasis in an otherwise blasé neighborhood.

This is a beautiful Park with a really great playground. In the summer the playground has water spouts for the kids to play in… There is basketball court and lots of playground equipment.
There is usually people in the park, from six am on through late at night. I know because I have a friend that lives less then a block away… during the summer it makes me smile to sit on his patio and listen to all the children laughing and playing … and it gets quite packed in the summer. I’m suprised I am the first to review this park, since its so awesome in the summer for kids :)
And my little italian greyhound loves it :)
