Again, another great artist find at the summer 2009 Urban Craft Uprising in Seattle!
Rachel is a amazing artist offering some of my favourite asthetics themes of travel and simplicity. I love her unique use of maps as a backdrop to her art muted by painting techniques that leave the audience dreaming up their adventure in a city of their choosing!
Rachel offers paintings on wood, jewelry, postcard stationary and prints.
She was very helpful in allowing me «stalking time» at her booth and not crowding me which actually encouraged me to ask her more about her work. In the end, I purchased one of her original paintings.
