Portland Bee Balm

My fiancé and I are working on building some unique out of town guest bags for our upcoming wedding… I posted to a blogging site asking for local recommendations of Oregon products, because we love supporting local, and someone immediately recommended these guys. I emailed, they replied, and happily accommodated my crazy request for 5 cases. I love what the company stands for, the design of their product, and the fact that they even offer an option to customize your label when you order multiple cases! We’re picking them up shortly when we’re in town next, so I’ll update my review once I snag one tube for myself and begin using it. But I had to post the review now — I cant wait!

I bought some of this when I was visiting oregon. My tube has finally come to an end and I couldn’t take the hot AZ weather without it. I ordered some online and was excited to see a complimentary tube! Yay! I love you guys and what you stand for!

I was looking for a natural, locally produced lip balm that would relieve my dry wintertime chapped lips and saw a display of Portland Bee Balm at Whole Foods. The handmade wood display and the packaging caught my eye because they looked environmentally friendly (that’s important to me!) and I liked the name which told me it was a small, local company. Plus, the price was under three bucks (affordable!), so I bought one to try it out.
I am happy to report it is the absolute best lip balm I have ever used! It is made with locally harvested bees wax and just the right amount of locally grown mint. It is smooth, refreshing and lasts a long time on my lips. Most happily, my lips are no longer chapped and crusty!
I bought 4 more sticks the next time I went to the store. I keep one balm next to my bed and apply it before I go to sleep. I keep another on my desk at work, one in my purse, and carry one in my coat pocket for when the pup and I go to the dog park.
I love Portland Bee Balm and am hooked on this product! Fingers crossed they expand their product line!
