Pizza Schmizza is one of the decent pizza places close to where I work so when I have the occasional need for pizza, it is where I go. I do like that they have $ 2.50 daily slice specials and I love their greek salad. They also have a nice variety of pizza, with my favorite being the Genoa and the Don Ho. Overall yummy pizza, decent prices and a friendly staff.

I hadn’t been to a Pizza Schmizza in years until the other day. I remember their pizza being ok but they must have changed the recipe because it was delicious! This location is small but wasn’t very crowded for a weekend night. We were able to get a table for 2 right away. We just ordered 3 slices of pizza and had it within a few minutes. It was great since we were in a hurry. The waitress was friendly and knew we were in a hurry so she got us our food and check quickly.

This Pizza Schmizza is an okay pizza destination. It is in the heart of downtown and they have several specials, along with plenty of choices for varieties of pizza. Some places such as Sizzle Pie have greater variety. The fountain cups they offer help it compete against the likes of the big fast food chains. Going here for lunch was pleasant. I had a good pepperoni pizza. The pizza came out quickly with a nice mix between cheese and sauce. The number one combo of a pizza and a fountain drink is five dollars. There are better values in town, but this is better than average. Pizza is elevated here.

The pizza is good when they don’t mess up your order. Decent hand tossed pizza, yet each time I order they manage to mess up the order. I’ve had: Burned crust(like blackened all over), wouldn’t remake the pizza. This time they forgot to add the requested toppings. Wait staff is attentive and apologetic(thanks Rebekah). Seriously, check your order before you leave!

Stopped by for a quick cheap eat with friends. I was delighted to find garlic butter Parmesan schnoodles for $ 3. Portion was rather large and I couldn’t finish it, but pasta was firm and with little bit of hot pepper it was pretty good. Good customer service too.

Good pizza, decent beer selection. Waited a bit when I got there but the service was pretty fast and friendly after that.

I love Schmizza!!! You have no idea how many times I dined/drank here when I was an intern in Portland a few years back. I lived at the Love Joy apartments and Schmizza was literally a hop and a skip away. A week ago, I made my return to PDX and Schmizza was definitely on my list of places to visit. Being there brought back so many good memories. Seriously… But besides my good memories, Schmizza = amazing because Schmizza = happy hour at 2PM. 2PM you say!!! OHHELLYES!!! Super cheap drafts($ 3.50 for a local brewsky), food(less than 5 bucks for a mini spaghetti with meatballs for example) and um… the donkey kong long island ice tea!!! Talk about being a baby on a budget. This place is filled with college kids, which is expected since it is close to PSU. There is outdoor seating, which is really nice during the summer days. However, it was too cold for this local Hawaii girl to sit out there this time around. Perhaps on my next trip? Bye for now, Schmizza! I’ll be back!!!

Raw and uncooked. Flaccid excuses match the equally limp slices, «I didn’t cook it.» You can say that again, bub. This is why I hate getting carry out from chain shops. Well, never again!

It’s the best place to go in the area — awesome that they have a full bar. Shaun(works on Sundays) is the best bartender. It is great that they The other service can sometimes be slow, but friendly for the most part. Sometimes I am disappointed that there is not pizza late night(they run out).

Stopped by here tonight with some friends and i wanted to watch some sports. Giants are my baseball team and we decided to sit outside. I asked the bar tender(backwards blue hat, tall guy, cargo shorts) if he could turn one of the tvs viewable from a table outside to the giants game and he asked which one so i told him and pointed to one. He said ok so i went back outside. He turned the channel to a different tv that i could only see if i turned my back to my friends to watch. I didnt think much of it but went back inside to ask again if he could turn the other tv’s channel. He got flustered and said that he just did. I tried telling him that he turned the one i couldn’t see but he just pointed to the other tv and said«welp its just on that one». I couldn’t believe he was being rude when i was trying to be nice about it. Quite ridiculous! Later he went outside to clear off the table right behind me. The entire time he cleaned that table i had my back turned to my table and friends and watched the game, and i saw him look at me a couple times, didn’t say anything, then went back inside and still did not turn the channel to the other tvs… which were just playing sports center and not even a live game! That is not customer service, that is being a jerk! Im not embellishing or skipping over any facts. This was actually my first time here… and my last. Enjoy this review jerk!

This is our local, great location to where we live. Hubby is a pizza fan so is happy to come here a few times a month. Hubby likes the plainer of pizzas, so cheese or pepperoni are always his picks. I like to be a bit more adventurous, and have so far tried the green chicken pie and the spicy thai, both are yum. Glad they do the half and half pizzas so we can both get a bit of what we both like. A medium pizza is the perfect size for both of us. Fav drink special is the mango tango. Good place to go watch all the sports channels at once! Will keep coming back :)

Not a really big fan of their pizza because i’ve been eating it since high school lunch time so I ordered 2BBQ Bacon Schmozz’ Burgers w/extra bacon the only complaint is the caesar schmaesar salad was pretty small(like 3 bites). Anyways the order was done in less than 15 mins & the food was delicious.

Oh, a «neighborhoody» bar that doesn’t give two shits about its neighborhood. I live really close to this joint and can hear its patrons loudly bro-ing out until 3, 4am nearly every single night. It’s so consistent that I’m shocked if it’s quiet. Some bars remind their patrons to please respect its neighbors… and PS! It’s not too late! Put up a sign! «We love our neighbors, please love them too!» Also, the food’s bad. Junk food is supposed to tasty but this ain’t.

This was possibly the worst costumer service I have ever received in my life. My girlfriends and I came here Friday for a nice girls night out. As we walked in we sat in one of the open tables and waited for our waitress. A blond short girl in a floral dress and fringe black t-shirt came to the table. She looked agitated and stressed, granted place was crowded but, as someone that has experience in costumer service, regardless of how the environment is you must always give a costumer the best experience especially, when they are kind, patient and polite. This certainly was not what we received. Let me start with the fact that unfortunately, I have a life threatening allergy therefore, I am always cautious when I order drinks and food. While I proceed to politely ask questions to the waitress to verify it it was possible for me to even drink/eat here. She started to give me some attitude and said«omg you are like royalty!» First of all this is a HUGE liability for any restaurant and I have the right to ask questions especially when it is a life and death situation. Any restaurant that does not pay careful attention to people with allergies(especially when costumer has alert of such conditions) can be in serious legal trouble. On top of that, to have a waitress say that you are some kind of royalty because you have life threatening allergy is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Not only that, one of my friends politely wanted to ask if she could exchange her drink, as she approaches the waitress, the waitress reply was«omg you guys are killing me!» What is this?!? I don’t even know where the manager/supervisor was located as when I spoke to the bartender and the waitress they were incredibly rude. After this craziness we decided to leave this horrible place. This was my 1st and last time here definitively not worth my time.

My boyfriend loves coming here for the awesome food and the exceptional service. This past visit didn’t disappoint. We were craving for some good ol’ grub and they always have great deals on food here. We were seated immediately upon arrival with a friendly face. The waitress was great in giving us our space and time to look over the menu and decide on things. I wasn’t rushed – thank you! We both ended up ordering the same thing(that happens a lot with us). The Shrimp Alfredo pasta special($ 6) was savory, creamy, and plentiful. With the Blazers game in the background, it was an all around a good experience. Our waitress was on it about checking in with us and making sure everything was good. It was wonderful! Every visit here is easy breezy and we’ll likely return for the fantastic customer service and pasta specials.

How I heard of this place: We happened to walk by on day one of our five-day stay in Portland, while my friends and I were engaged in an Urban Adventure Quest! The pizza craving hit, and it was right there… so we made our way in. Type of cuisine: «Our goal may not be ‘world domination’, but it is building Schmizza into the world’s leading brand of delicious New York style pizza by the slice served in the kind of place you’d love to go, by servers committed to your having a terrific experience and a great value, each and every time.» Ambiance: «This is not just another pizza place. There’s a vibe, an ambience, a feeling that you can’t quite put your finger on. A happy place — serious about the food and drink it offers. Serious about the customer enjoying a memorable experience. Serious, happy, and edgy. Irreverent. With a name like Pizza Schmizza, the irreverence is palpable… Each store is different and yet you’ll always know you’re in a Schmizza. You may be greeted by a looming Tyrannosaurus Rex, or sit at a table showcasing a zany array of Pez dispensers. Grab a group of friends and gather round one of the three TVs for some of the best pizza in town. Pick from 25 Schmizza varieties including the traditional Italian offerings, more exotic options(including Louisiana alligator and steak and potato), or the long list of chicken pizzas. Schmizza is a family adventure and kids love the excitement. There are plenty of coloring sheets and crayons. Depending on the location, pooches are welcome on the back patio.» What I ordered: In our little party of three, we gorged ourselves on three slices. Mine, the Cheese($ 3.59) with a creamy pile of 100% mozzarella & parmesan cheese; the second: Pepperoni, cheesy goodness with pepperoni on top, and lastly, the Green Chicken Pie, pesto chicken, fresh spinach, marinated artichoke hearts, roma tomatoes & feta cheese. Make it a combo with a slice and a drink for $ 4.99! What I loved: Thin crust, lots of gooey cheese atop and a filling slice o’pie! Why I loved it: Simple, good food served in an eclectic, comfortable setting. Cost: Low($ 3.50 — $ 4.50 per slice)

My sister and I ordered a medium extremely veggie pizza. While we Understood that we probably will have half of a pizza left, but we wanted sometHing hot and fresh, and the pizza came out just as the way we wanted. The veggie were fresh and the pizza was hot. And we were right, we Had half a pizza left for the next day. We also ordered a veggie Tray(which only cost $ 3), and a beer. It was so called the Very happy hour, the check came out very affordable. there are more good choices on the Very happy menu that you can easily have a meal here with more save for the drinks. The very happy hour starts after 8pm if you are interested. I also like their TVs, more than What you need if you are a sports fan(which I am a huge fan). The only thing is that service was a little slow at first, which we were not sure if we need to go up to the kitchen to order or someone will come by. But it is the smallest thing you could complain about.

Server was amazing. served my sister and I and the rest of the restaurant by herself. A one woman show! The pepperoni pizza was delicious! $ 3.25 each. Dirt cheap aaand no tax… which means a lot coming from CA. My sister and I are delighted visitors. Also grabbed a drink $ 6. Forgot the name… but I posted a pic.

Fun neighborhood atmosphere, great pizza, and great drinks! The Manmosa rocks. Served in a towering frozen mug that will give your biceps a workout. It consists of vodka, champagne, and OJ. A few of these will get you going in the morning, afternoon or evening. They also have a good selection of local brews on tap & bottled. The servers, bartenders, and cooks are all very friendly which seems to make everyone in this place a bit friendlier & willing to chat up their neighbor. Made for good fun on a Sunday afternoon especially since we were visiting from out of town. Pizza is great. I really liked the Genoa Combo, and the Hawaiian is great except I wish they diced the pineapple instead of just putting one ring on the slice. The baked tater tots are crispy and delicious. Just had the plain, but they also offer pizza & cajun versions. The Scmitzy(???) bread was a garlic lover’s dream. Delicious cheesy bread seasoned and topped with garlic served with sauce. They also have a number of pasta and sandwich options that both sounded and looked amazing as they came out of the kitchen one after another. Bar seats about a half dozen people surrounded by high tops and 3 TVs. There are booths and tables to the back of this relatively small restaurant with a few TVs lining the wall. They also have outdoor area with picnic tables positioned in a way that you can watch most, if not all, of the TVs.
