3 stars because the pizza wasn’t bad. Do yourself a favor & skip the spinach salad. Got my order to go or I would have asked for a refund. Half the spinach was rotten and I just ended up tossing it out.

I happened to be at Mall 205 today, so I stopped in at the Pizanos Pizza location there for a quick bite to eat. They had a good selection of slices. Also, it was right after lunch hour, so all the pizzas they had displayed were probably pretty fresh(not sitting there for hours). I chose a slice of combination pizza. I liked the thin crust, although it was just slightly droopy. It tasted OK though. I noticed that their slices were smaller than at many other pizza-by-the-slice places, but their low price of $ 3.25 for any slice is good. And, actually, I’d rather pay less for a smaller slice anyway if I don’t feel like eating too much. Overall, their pizza was just average. If I was nearby and in the mood for pizza, they would be OK for a serviceable slice, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there.

I have to confess: pizza is Not My Favorite Food, but the piece that my son shared with me, after we drove out to Mall 205 for the closest DMV location to take the driving test(YES he passed on the first try yay!!), had a nice crunchy bottom(that’s a real +) and a nice proportion of sauce and cheese and toppings(I just love artichoke on anything ;0). So even though I usually only review after I have visited a restaurant two times, I doubt the need for returning to Mall 205 any time soon(my other son will need to practice at least 6 months) and therefore I am posting this ‘try them – it wasn’t bad for the price’ recommendation.

I’m giving a two star because I love their crust. The people who work here are very rude. I work in food service and come on even if your having a bad smile say hi to the customer. I almost left after the attitude the lady behind the counter had. They were lucky I was starving.

I work in mall 205 and honestly am very pleased with this place :) I am a Pizza lover! not only do they always consider my mall employee discount, they have always been super sweet and efficient. Seeing that they are working in a fast paced environment and dealing with hungry costumers daily they never failed my orders! I usually have their pizzas or my fav, their half sandwiches!

Worst delivery experience ever. First off it took 2 hours for them to get it to us after we called 4 different times! The place is located less than 15 minutes away from our apartment and it should not have even taken an hour. Once the pizza finally arrived our pizza was cold and it was the wrong order! Only thing that was nice is the manager gave us a credit for a free pizza otherwise would not be going back.

I would like to thank the staff for saving me from my dietary bad decision to eat at this place. As I stood in line, I was ignored and got the pleasure of listening to the clerk and a customer compare self hair care disasters the entire time it took for a piece of pizza to reheat. Thank you for encouraging me to grab dinner elsewhere, it was a healthier decision!

Came here to avoid ordering pizza from a chain pizza place. I prefer to give local businesses my support, but when I ordered I didn’t expect them that when I returned ten minutes later not only was my order not ready like they said it was, but they totally forgot about it. They weren’t at all busy with one customer in the place eating at the time of my order it was a very simple order any other place would have executed this very easily.

They were not reachable by phone! No way to add a coupon @ checkout if ordering online! The partnership with«Grub Hub» is seriously flawed! Chose to get pizza else ware!

Pizza out of a glorified Easy Bake Oven? I think not. The place is dirty. If you are going to have an open prep area, at least keep it clean. Very mediocre pizza but then again, this is Portland. They wouldn’t last a week on the east coast.

Nothing was wrong with the food but the customer service is not worth coming back for. The dirty blonde with tattoos on her arm was rude and I felt unwanted there. I was being considerate, rather than leaving my trays on the table, I was putting them away by the front desk, and I was heading out the door, I was rudely told«they don’t belong there.»

Chicken bacon pizza and garlic knots are awesome! Quick delivery. Definitely best pizza in Hazelwood!

I work in the service industry, so I have never been inclined to write a negative review… until now. Too bad as it was my first time trying Pizanos and my first night in a new neighborhood. The good: great tasting crust, good sauce-to-cheese ratio. The bad: Two items in my order were wrong-pineapple was only on one half of my pizza instead of all over. A shame, as my boyfriend’s half of the pizza had pork, which I do not eat or I would have just stolen his pineapples! Also, my Caesar salad came with a balsamic dressing instead of the Caesar dressing as was described in the menu(as well as being common sense). The ugly: I called for a refund on the incorrect items. I was made to wait on the phone while I could hear employees laughing and saying to tell me the manager wasn’t there. I was given the number to GrubHub, who I ordered through, and was told that they would refund me. GrubHub told me they contacted Pizanos, but their manager refused to offer compensation as he said my food was made correctly. Which is basically calling me a liar. Not cool. Moral of the story-I will continue ordering through apps exclusively, as GrubHub offered me credit when Pizanos wouldn’t. Now THAT is great customer service.

When I walked up to order I felt rushed and the staff didn’t look like they wanted to actually help people, it was my first time there so I just had like two questions about the food. The cashier looked annoyed with having to do her job, but tried to be nice. I got my piece of pizza and took a bite and half of it was still COLD. So that just ruined my whole experience. I didn’t want to further disturb the already seemed-to-be disturbed worker there so I just put up with it. The place is also pretty dirty looking, it could use a good sweeping and deep clean. I should’ve just drove an extra 5 minutes over to flying pie, much better bbq pizza there!

Does not even achieve ordinary. We had an event for 60 people. Asked three times before ordering if they could handle the volume and get the food delivered on time. «Not a problem» we were assured. To cut to the chase, no food for the first 5⁄6th of the event. It did show(after a ton of prompting) 7 minutes before close, which of course was useless. Nothing like 60 hungry, surly people telling you their afternoon was ruined. To add insult to injury, the staff on the phone could not have been ruder when I politely called for progress checks. «It will get there when it gets there». If they had called to warn us or been even 1% apologetic(like a normal business that caters to CUSTOMERS), I would have been willing to cut them a little slack. Having them tell me to stop bothering them and wasting their time-not ideal. Allow me also to suggest-not worth waiting for. 1.5 stars for the pizza, though the one with gluten free crust was apparently decent. Of course, we gave away most of the food, as no one has time to eat it. To be honest, the delivery guy was apologetic and kind. Strongly recommend going somewhere else-no shortage of pizza in the area.

I’m giving two stars because I had the pasta penne alfredo with shrimp and it was really good. However, I’m giving two stars because I was disturbed by the way the food was prepared. Maybe I have higher expectations, but not a single worker wore gloves while preparing the food. The lady who took my cash didn’t even wash her hands between handling my money and touching someone’s pizza. The bag that my shrimp came out of sat on the counter after they put it in my food for the entire time I waited for my food, which was about 5 – 7 minutes. The workers seemed more interested in socializing with each other than working. I even had to ask for a fork because they don’t have any sitting out. On a positive note, you do get good value for your money, although it costs an extra $ 2 to add shrimp to the pasta.

I just arrived from the east coast and was quite exhausted. I called Pizano’s for delivery and ordered a combination pizza and a ranch steak sandwich(can’t recall the exact name, but was on a gyro type bread.) It was very good, the sauce had a great flavor and I was completely satisfied. The steak and ranch sandwich was eaten later and still tasted fabulous. It wasn’t like delivery at all. I saved this place to my phone and will definitely call them again the next time I visit Portland!

This is a review by a vegetarian You’d be shocked and amazed how small a poor quality slice you get for $ 3.25 Instead, go next door to Target, buy whatever frozen pizza is on sale, put it on your engine block, when you arrive at your destination you’ll have way more better pipn’hot pizza than if you patronized Pizanos.

Within a city that has some great artisan pizza and really cool and different types of pizza, this place is, well just ordinary. Nothing really stood out. Yes, I realize I am a pizza snob being that I’m from NJ and have grown up on great zah from the New York/New Jersey area. But you gotta strive to be better than the big chains. The pizza needed seasonings, even something as simple as salt would have added something to it. I had a slice of pepperoni and one of chicken bacon alfredo. The pepperoni was the better tasting of the two. Kinda blah, but this was mall pizza, not sure about the five star reviews, maybe they just haven’t experienced amazing pizza yet. Hope this helps out some. I’ve got more food to try.

I some how ended up here, thinking my son was grabbing a slice of pizza on the way home but ended up sitting down in here eating a slice myself. I think Pizza Schmizza is a lot better than they are and the place was kind of dirty. The pizzas looked a little tired behind the glass, but I opted to split a Hawaiian slice and veggie combo. The hawaiin piece I had had one tiny little pineapple on it and was more about the greasy. I didn’t even eat half the veggie combo and ended up tossing it. I thought of the Di Girono commercials that claim you can’t tell if its take out or Di Girono. I think I’d pick the frozen one over this. I know this might not bug another person, but when I was sitting there, I saw the new waitress come in on her shift and they were talking about her schedule and she was standing there pulling her hair back while standing over a couple of pizzas on the counter. I might not have noticed but she was kind of leaning against the counter while she did it and she had really long hair. However, my son does like them a lot, so it could go either way I guess, but he did say he liked Pizza Schmizza better.
