Wow, we have never been treated so poorly while shopping. The girl at the front desk, yelled «can I help you?» In a tone that was very sharp and after a few short minutes it was evident that she couldn’t help us. She didn’t even invite us in to look at what they had and when inquiring about their products – every answer was a snide remarked. So, no thanks, we wi get our granite counters from somewhere else.

PDX Building Supply did a great job. They were helpful and knowledgeable at each stage of the project. They worked with us to get custom cuts that fit our old (1925) cabinets perfectly (each cabinet had a different, shallower than current standard depth). They were good with colors, helping us find granite that we love that went well with our white cabinets. They were prompt, kept us in the loop, answered our questions, were flexible when the plumber asked us to use a shallower sink. The installers were very skilled, the granite is well matched and the seams were good. Thank you Danny and Christine!

I wouldn’t know how good their work is, as they never followed through to get the job. I went in and sought a price and time estimate, and was told a ballpark price. They said they would call me back later that day to confirm a final price. I didn’t hear back so I called them the next day. Again, they would call me back. Called once more– no dice. Not a very good business plan. I wouldn’t care other than the fact that they wasted my time while I could have been elsewhere getting my countertops.
