Paychex

Not very impressed. It seemed to be that something is always missing from my payroll envelope each month, the taxes were not taken out properly of each paycheck, and overall just not impressed. The staff however is very friendly, but just not as thorough as needed to be. When taxes quarterly came to be due, the money ended up getting kicked back into my payroll account instead of being applied to and sent off to the State. After getting sent a letter in early July from the unemployment department about how there were not payments made, we did some further investigation as a company and found out that they money had not actually been applied to the state, but sent back into my payroll account.
Its been nothing but a headache to figure it out, and if I had waited on paychex to do their end the state will still have yet to hear back from them… its been almost 2 months. I am so glad I took the initiative to rectify the situation myself.
