I walked in an ordered a large pepperoni. I watched people walk in, order and get their pizza before me when I finally asked they just started at me like I was stupid. Call your order in our go through the drive through if your order isn’t big because otherwise they obviously don’t care.

Most Papa Murphy’s are really great. In fact, I recommend every single one I’ve ever been to, except this one. Almost every time you walk in, you are blatantly ignored by all employees, including managers, until you make a giant fuss about it. Even if you’re the only one in the store and they are not making pizzas for online or call in orders. Plus, last time I ordered online from there(they are the closest to my house), they acted like they had no idea that there was more than just one pizza at the pickup, until I called and asked for a manager. At this time, I was the only one in the store, walked outside and called them. They didn’t answer for 10 whole minutes and when they finally picked up, they told me to give them my number because they were super busy and they’d have a manager call when it was less busy. So I gave it to them, and 2 full days later, no call. In the end, I had to yell at them to stop standing around and give me my order for which I’d already paid. I also told them that they really needed to work on their customer service, when a person walks in the due, they should be acknowledged! I promise, no matter how far I have to drive, I will NEVER go back to this location. The one in Murray hill is much better.

Nothing too exciting to report on this place. They are efficient and do just exactly what you ask of them. However sometimes the young staff isn’t always polite and seem to be bothered that you come in when they’re busy.

Training needs to be provided to your staff on how to keep gloves clean before using them to make a pizza. The woman making our pizza rubbed her hands all over the outside of the gloves, took money, and continued to rub the gloves. I asked her to use different gloves when she started our pizza and got an argument from her. Another employee was using a broom with her gloves on. This shows me a lack of training on proper food preparation from the owner. We like the pizza but are concerned with the lack of hygiene during the food preparation.

Went in tonight to pick up my order that was called in and they could not find it in system. The drive through was backed up to the street. No parking in the parking lot. This was due to all the employees inside not knowing what they were doing. All orders were wrong for the most part. The girl who worked the drive thru window forgot to give change out. She had no idea what she was doing. Some of the employees friends showed up and employees left their stations to go hang out with their friends in the parking lot. Lots of orders were backed up. People were angry and walked out. Very sad. This place needs help. Such a joke. I will not be going back. The employees need training. Who owns this place???

Only reason i didnt give them a one rating… because pizza is not too bad. Ive been frequenting this place for quite a while and have noticed the service get worse and all new staff that apparently have no training. Ive managed restaurant in the past and this place, in my opinion, needs an overhaul with a Manager to properly make it work. Repeatedly had wrong orders over the past few months, much longer wait times, and less consistent product. Today was the«topper» when they could not find my written order??? How hard is it to take a phone call, write down, and make? They looked again and could remember somebody taking order(30 min ago) but still nothing made. They did not offer to rectify situation??? Clueless people. Im not returning. Been patient because Ive worked in that environment before.

Wow! Step-mom picked up pizza today and had to listen to the manager demean the staff the whole time. Then, on the way out she mentioned it to him, and he suggested she take her business elsewhere. So classy!

I went to this location for the last time last night. I had gone there for the college national championship game and they had lost a pizza I ordered that morning and was disorganized. I had to wait over an hour to pick it up to find out they lost a pizza. I decided to try it out again last night and was going to chalk the last experience up to a really busy day with inexperienced management/owners/employees. Last night I asked them to make a pizza that was part papas favorite and part Hawaiian and it didn’t come out the way I wanted it. The guy who took my order knew it wasn’t right because the first thing he asked me is do I want them to remake it. When I said, Yes, thank you, that would be great, the staff starting talking about me in a bad way among each other. I proceeded to ask for my money back and I decided to go to another location to get what this one could not do. I love Papa Murphy’s pizza but I do not love this location at all.

Got a coupon and came here to get pizzas. The cashier said I only can use the coupon on the pepperoni. What? I use the exactly same coupon at different places and still get the different kind of pizza. Waste my trip

This is a good Papa Murph’s location. They usually got some nice kids working here, making some nice pizzas. I always get loads of toppings and a good even dough throughout. They dont skimp here! They also got a drive-thru for those tryin’ to get a quickie pie. They got all sorts of new take home bread sticks things and cookie dough cinna-crazy whatever thingys with tons of sugar and carbs if you’re trying to die young. They got it all.

Meh… about sums it up. First they got our order wrong. NBD. Call. They want it back. So I have to go back down there. I’m hungry! I don’t want to go back down there. But, OK. After a short wait they have the right pizza. No offer of a discount, spiff, nothing. So the girl on the register tries to discount the difference in price between the 2 pizzas. And charges me more! Takes 2 more tries to get it back to even. Filling out the survey I ask for mannagement to call. The owner has an employee call. I think we will try someplace else.

Decently priced, pretty delivious pizza that you have to cook yourself. Salads aren’t anything to write home about. The coolest thing about this location is you can call in your order and then go through the drive-thru to pick it up — an extra star for that convenience!

Papa Murphy’s is a pretty decent pizza, but what makes this location a 5 star place is Brandy. She has been making pizzas for my family every Friday for almost 10 years, and we keep coming back for Brandy. Extra toppings? No problem. Special requests? No problem. I bring the pies home and smoke them on my Traeger, and the results are out of this world. Brandy goes out of her way to ask about my 92 year old in-;laws. My father-in-law passed away just last month, and we’ve moved my mother in law to SW Portland. We STILL drive out to Tigard to get our Friday night De-lite pizzas by Brandy. They are made with love, and you can taste it. It’s a 3.5 star pizza with a 6 star employee… evens out to 5 stars :)

Why do we get sick every single time we get pizza here? It doesn’t matter what we get, we will be punished. Is there some strange secret ingredient in the dough? It’s the only non-frightening theory I can come up with. Neither my husband or I have any known food allergies, we eat pizza from other places without issue, it’s just Papa Murphy’s. Actually, it’s just THIS Papa Murphy’s. Stomach clenching aside, when we do order here we always call in our order ahead of time and then go through the drive through. It’s a convenient feature except that our pizza has never been ready on time so we always have to go park and wait in the car. Also, the pizza itself always has way to many toppings In the center and not enough around the edges, so if you don’t redistribute the toppings you will get a soggy center. Overall my feeling is that if I have to bake it at home, why not just make it at home. Or get delivery.

While I’ve been here numerous times over the years, yesterdays experience was annoying enough to make me Unilocal. Superbowl Sunday, ducks lined up. All I had to do was get the pizza and be home to make kick off. Had Papa Murphy’s done their part at the beginning this would have happened. I called in my order and went to pick it up in a timely fashion. Pizza in car, check. I couldn’t remember a Veggie DeLight having red sauce so half way home I call and confirm, and yes my pizza that was made was incorrect. Okay so far, Papa Murphys has asked me to come back and pick up the right now. Not a problem. No apology or anything for inconveniencing me, but I’m sure they’ll show their customer service when I pull up and get my correct order. Guess again. Yes my order was corrected and the incorrect one returned but not one word from the cashier. So Papa Murphy’s on 99W, sorry you lost a customer. I’m BIG on customer service. I don’t expect that the customer is always right, ever, that’s not a fair statement to make in this world BUT I do expect some level of apology when the fault was clearly theirs. A ‘we apologize’ in any degree would have gone a loooooong way.

When people talk about Tigard being a food wasteland, they’re not just saying that we don’t have much in the way of ‘nice’ food. Even our pizza options are pretty crappy. Now, i’m a fundamentally lazy person, so i stuck with the crappy delivery option for a while. But at some point i realized that having awful pizza delivered wasn’t actually solving my problems if i could barely choke the stuff down. This finally was enough to get me to try Papa Murphy’s. You can call your order in if you want to, but you still have to go pick it up in person, and actually bake it in your own oven. It really defeats the whole purpose of pizza, for me at least. But here’s the catch: it’s good and cheap. For the same price as a Papa John’s pizza(when they have those online coupons, which is all the time, and not counting the delivery fees), you get good crust, good sauce, actual cheese, and more than .03 grams of each topping you request. And the upside of baking it yourself is that it’s always, always hot when it gets to your table. And now they even have the Mini Murphy, which is a build-it-yourself child-size pizza. I’ve only tested it once, but the 9 year old victim thought it was AWESOME. He made a smiley face with the pepperoni. My only word of cautious is that they get VERY busy on friday evenings. Starting around 5:15, there’s a mob in the store and a multi-car back-up in the pick-up window. If you’re doing a pizza night on friday just like 83% of the rest of the local population, plan ahead and get there with a few minutes to spare. Even when they’re mobbed, you’ll usually get your pizza in under 10 minutes. Play a few levels of angry birds while you wait, and it’s no biggie. (And on my several visits, i’ve never had the staff be anything but polite, friendly, and just downright nice. Even with 10 people in the store waiting to order and 8 cars in the drive-through lane.) (Also note: there is no dine-in option. They don’t have ovens, they can’t bake your pizza. This is strictly take-out.)

It was incredibly busy when I arrived, so I’ll give them that. I’ve worked in a busy environment but the cashier was not taking it well at all. She was announcing how many minutes were left in her shift and overreacting about the whole situation. The customers were being completely fine but just the fact that there were alot of them made her completely crazy. We were there for about 45 minutes and almost every pizza had something wrong with it too. I’ll come back again because it was tasty but the environment was a little strange.
