Awesome staff, great membership options. This is a smaller location but I enjoy going here just to interact with they’re super sweet girls! The new manager Brionna is so sweet and genuine and their diamond bed is my favorite. Love getting to experience different Palm beach tans and seeing what they have to offer! As far as people complaining on here that they are «pushy»…
Please, it’s their job to pitch memberships and lotion to us! Relax people. Don’t you do your job at YOUR job? Can’t wait to come back again thanks PBT

They are nothing but a bunch of thieves. Trying to get money out of my account. I never gave them permission to automatically take money or neither did I sign a contract. Hire some grown up adults, not a bunch of jersey shore teenagers.

Signed up yesterday for a membership and the dark haired gal working was so helpful and knowledgeable and gave me extremely great service as well as politely pausing out conversation to check others in and get them tanning. I’m so glad she did that because I would hate to be holding people up. She took me on a tour and showed me all of the beds in their beautiful and clean facility. She was not pushy at all and answered all of my questions with a great big smile! Can’t way to go back!

Not only do the new employees SUCK but they now close 15 minutes early haha. I live a block away and used to go all the time before closing to get a quick tan and now the new workers think they can close whenever they want. I’ve been going here for so long now and I never thought I would switch to another place since this place is so close to me but not worth it. Definitely will be switching. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone anymore.

I receive top notch service every time I come here or any Palm Beach for that matter. The staff is always friendly and I never feel pressured to buy something I don’t want. The assistant manager is more than just friendly she is genuinely concerned about her customers and their satisfaction. I’ve referred several people to Palm Beach and will continue to do so!

I tanned at this place for quite a while and enjoyed it, the staff was always nice and very helpful and knowledgable. I went in to cancel my membership, and I could see the passive aggressive faces they were making and that they couldn’t wait to talk shit about me after I walked out. It was rather obvious, and extremely unprofessional. Although their customer service was always very friendly, it was also very fake. Half of the little girls working there remind me of the stuck up entitled little teenage girls who spend all day looking at their phones. I know this sounds mean, but that is the impression some of them give. After paying this company with my hard earned money for over 2 years, I should expect genuine customer service once I decide to cancel, instead of repeated extremely uncomfortable looks from the staff, and the manager at that. Very unprofessional. I won’t ever go back to Palm Beach.

I used to go to this location years ago and really enjoyed it. After a long hiatus I have returned. Yes the lotion prices are a little high for my taste but most tanning salons are that way. As far as customer service I’ve always been helped promptly and they are always friendly. After going to a few other tanning chains I’ve found the palm beach has the most reasonable prices. Of course they are going to be a little on the pushy side for up selling but that’s what they are supposed to do. If no one had ever tried up selling with me I would never have tried the upgrades and would never have known how much better the stand up bed is (it’s all I use now days)

I would have considered a membership and actually tanning here if the staff wasn’t so pushy. I went in to use the 4 free tans coupons with intentions to transition into a longer commitment if I was satisfied, but their insincere, fake and aggressive sales schtick was too much to handle. First, the young woman acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about when I mentioned the 4 free tans ad (despite it being online and plastered on billboards all over town). Then they tried to tell me that it was essentially a waste to tan for a week in their silver level beds. Well, if it’s a waste, why do they offer it at all? Look, I get the need to up-​sell but c’mon, they need to learn to interact with people on a basic level before asking me buy a $ 68 lotion. I am going back to the locally-​owned business I’ve used in the past, even though it’s much farther away. I am sure you can get a great tan here, but the staff made me race for the door.

with the exception of one visit, every experience i have had here has been mellow… mellow in the best way possible! considerate and knowledgeable– yet not overbearing– staff, clean facilities, and decent prices! i will continue to be a patron of palm beach as long as their great customer service and satisfactory standards continue!

I’ve been going here for a little over a month. I swear SE Portland doesn’t believe in tanning, so I was super stoked to find Palm Beach Tan in my neighborhood. Anyone who claims they don’t like a little vitamin D overdose is lying to themselves.
Everyone here has always been super friendly to me, and they remembered my name after just a few visits. The most I’ve waited for a bed is probably 10 minutes, but I rarely have to wait. Beds are clean, too.
Oh, and there is always parking!
