Oregon Pediatrics

I wrote a review before and it was removed by Unilocal so I’d also like to add a rating for Unilocal here too which would be 1 star. Anyway I took my child here and paid over 200 $ to have the doctor spend a couple of minutes finding nothing wrong with my child. Then I found out from friends that my child had croup (sp?). And after talking to a couple of others doctors this was correct. I told them I had taken my child to the doctor and what I had told the doctor at Oregon Pediatrics and they laughed and said they didn’t know how a kids doctor would not know that. I wish I wouldn’t have paid so much to an incompetent doctor to find out something that apparently is common knowledge to many parents.

I have to say that I love this office and more specifically Dr. Joy! All 3 of my kids go here and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Joy was able to get to the bottom of some things we had questioned and were told were «normal» when we lived out of state. Trust me, if you’re looking for a pediatrician, THIS is the place. We always get timely appointments too and have never ever been kept waiting.

Let me start by saying we moved to Vancouver WA and STILL drive in to Portland to come to this office. We have been Patients at Oregon Pediatrics for 5 years. We LOVE them. In the 5 years we have been coming, we have been to 3 different clinics (they have a Saturday one!) Clackamas, Happy Valley, and NE Portland. We primarily visit the NE Portland office. We have been coming since my son was an infant. He is now 5 and loves to visit his «Doctor Store». The NE Portland office moved down to the basement at the Prov. Portland Building, it has a nice large quite waiting room. Plenty of room to sit away from sick kids. The Doctor’s and Medical staff are very caring. They listen to me, and allow me to have an active role in my son’s care. As parents we must listen to our instincts and it’s WONDERFUL to have Doctors that understand that. I have always been able to get a same day appointment. We are currently a Patient of Jennifer Egelseer, DO. We have seen DR. Ell, Dr. Hadeed, and Dr. Palato. We like them all.
