We have been storing stuff here for over a year and have never paid late. In mid-​April we received notice that out rate was going up by $ 6.50 a month. We were not able to change the auto-​pay in time so our May rent was $ 6.50 short of the new rate. Not only did they lock us out of the facility, they sent us a letter with a $ 13.75 late fee and a threat «We hope this reminder will enable you to avoid the inconvenience of your lock being cut and your goods being scheduled for auction.» How’s that for customer service? Great was to treat good customers. Needless to say, we are removing our stuff by the end of the month and will never do business with Portland Mini Storage or their new parent company NW Mini Storage again.
