This 5 star rating is for the whole kitten caboodle. The front desk staff is friendly, they’re always complimenting my nail polish or clothes… love those ladies. Dr. Smith’s, PA, Amanda, is EXCELLENT. She has never had a bad day in her life – seriously, one of the nicest people to work with. Dr. Smith is my favorite doctor. He’s friendly, KNOWLEDGEABLE and can be really funny once you get to know his humor. I LOVE NW Rheumatology. They’ve made a pretty awful diagnosis (RA at 29 years old) the best, they possibly can, for me and I love them every minute for that. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith and NW Rheumatology and Associates.

I see Dr. Smith for JIA and fibromyalgia. He’s a good doctor, but is constantly plugging for me to see a psychiatrist. I did for a while to one he recommended, but it was not a good experience. I need a counselor to help me work through my past, not a psychiatrist to tell me I have a chemical imbalance and throw meds at it. Dr. Smith sometimes seems to have a hard time understanding what I’m saying to him and has canceled my infusion appointments without telling me. That was frustrating. But again, he’s a good doctor and very knowledgable, and pretty accommodating once he finally understands you.
HOWEVER, the infusion department and front desk folk are absolutely stellar. They are friendly and efficient, and in the infusion department they are VERY skilled. It is super comfortable with massive lazy boy chairs, free Keurig coffee or tea, snacks, water, the works. It’s a great (and pretty painless) place for an infusion.

The group of physicians, and the staff at NWRA are consistantly kind, caring and extremely professional. I have been a patient there for over ten years, and have always felt well cared for. I have been treated repectfully each time I have had an appointment, or called with questions about symptoms or medications. My phone calls have been answered within the same day, some times within a short period of time. In a practice that sees many chronically ill patients, it has been consistantly a cheerful and posittve atmosphere. the Drs. are top notch. I feel so fortunate to have access to this wonderful care.
