Dr. Norris is excellent. I have been seen a couple times by her in the past five years, for different problems. Both times she made quick and accurate diagnoses of issues that multiple other healthcare providers hadn’t been able to figure out. I will definitely go back to her in the future for any dermatology needs that arise.

This is review mainly for Dr. Kjelstrup but I’ve had a brief interaction with Dr. Norris as well. I have a skin condition that my initial dermatologist misdiagnosed. Dr. Kjelstrup was able to properly identify it almost immediately. Though the treatment for it is a bit of trial and error. I read the review below and felt compelled to write this one because there are some similarities between our experiences. I had an extremely bad flare up of my condition because I was in the sun a lot over the weekend and used a lot of sunblock. Dr. Kjestrup fit me in on short notice and offered a prescription for Prednisone in addition to some other medicines. Prednisone is an anti-inflammatory and steroid. It is absolutely not something that Dr. Kjelstrup prescribed to me as a long-term solution nor would she or any doctor. It did clear up the inflammation in my skin 80% in less than 24 hours. It reduced my stress and allowed me to get back to work. Now Dr. Kjelstrup and I are continuing to learn more about my skin and how to manage the flares long-term. She knows her stuff and I definitely have gotten the feeling that she cares more about me than money and has been more than willing to engage with me about how billing works and how to keep things cost effective. I am very grateful for the short course of Prednisone. Dr. Norris came in to give a second opinion and she was very friendly and knowledgable as well.

This review is for Dr. Kjelstrup. She is one of those doctors that is quick to prescribe you heavy meds without remotely trying to figure out what might be causing the problem. I was having a very bad allergy for 10 days to something. Her only solution was to prescribe me Prednisone. When I told her that I didn’t want to take a steroid, her reply was«Take the Prednisone, you deserve it.» I was speechless, which is a good lead to the fact that after any information you may tell her about your condition, she follows with a longwinded, know-it-all reply. I did not fill the Prednisone prescription given to me. I happened to figure out that evening what I was allergic to and stopped consuming it and, with only plain warm showers and Vaseline, I was 80% better within 3 days. Out of the 15 minute appointment, 8 minutes was trying to sell me a $ 2500 allergy testing. This wasn’t even to immediately help my problem… it was recommended for me in the future. And, out of the 3 doctors I saw that week, her office was the only one to send me a bill for the uncovered insurance amount. I believe money rules this office and her practice, not helping people. I can’t imagine the prolonged size affects of Prednisone on me vs. the cure of figuring out what I was allergic to.
