The only thing better than Noho’s would to be at one of those roadside food trucks in Hawaii. The Kalua Pig is to doy fowah and now its on the menu every day, not just Friday. Thanks Ho.

Great experience. The waitress(Kelly, I think?) was out of this world. She brought an Ono Bowl for our two year old at no charge, and when he got a little restless, she brought a tablet over with a Winnie the Pooh cartoon. The food was great. I had the teriyaki chicken Andy husband had the Korean chicken. Both were really solid, and good portion size. It’s a little spendier than I think it should have been, but considering the service we got it was worth it for us.

I always get the chicken teriyaki, extra crispy all macroni. Bah boom. sometimes I’ll throw in a ginger sesame salad! By far the best Hawaiian restaurant around this town. There’s few around town… NoHo started those and got screwed from those co investor’s. I will only eat here that’s how good this place is. !!!

Not much to say here, other than big portions of good food. I split the hamburger steak with my friends, it came with LOTS of gravy, which was very delicious. Additionally, we had a drink(passion orange guava) which was very tasty!

Once you make it past fighting for a parking spot, you’re ready to indulge in absurd amounts of delicious food. The sweet hot pan fried chicken is my favorite item, the teriyaki chicken is tasty as well. The Mac salad should be eaten by the pound, and is even better with sauce on it! Prices are a bit high for a casual restaurant, but portions are huge– the smallest size is still more than I often eat, or I can split large with my husband, making the price more affordable. Service can be slow but is friendly. If you’re in the mood for Hawaiian, this is the place to try.

This place is a legit Hawaiian operation. Serving size is good and is one of the best Hawaiian plate lunches in Portland.

My lunch date and I both ordered the Loco Moco regular and sodas. The hamburger was burned, hard, and flavorless, which was unfortunate because everything else on the plate was ok, but the burned flavor of the meat ruined everything. The service, however, was good and earned a extra star or I would have given only one as my soda was also flat.

I love Hawaiian food so I was pretty glad to see this restaurant right across the street from where we were having breakfast! Right away, we decided, hey we are going there for dinner! There are three portions — menehune(small), regular, and blalah(large). After a long day, I was ready to order the Pork Mixed Plate blahah, but decided to go for regular. I was glad I did — the portion size is insane! LOL Why was I even surprised? The serving size in Hawaii is only one size — huge! The Pork Mixed plate came with Teriyaki Pork and Kahlua Pork, but the kind waitress let me switch out the Teriyaki Pork for Teriyaki chicken! Loved every bit of my meal — a taste of Hawaii in Oregon! Everything was delicious — the pork, chicken, and the macaroni salad! The meal was so huge I ended up having it as leftovers 3x! After dinner, we asked waitress if they have dessert, which they do not, but she recommended her favorite ice cream place. Glad we took her advice because she was right about that ice cream! Anyway, this place is da bomb. Great food, awesome service, and great hipster location. Don’t hesitate coming here!

Delicious food, superior service. I’m no expert on macaroni salad, but my companion claims that it’s so good«I could walk around with a feedbag of it strapped to my face all day and feel no shame.» The Garlic Chicken was excellent; well-spiced and the textures of the cabbage below complemented the dish as a whole. Their house sauce is incredible: subtle yet necessary. The best part of this establishment is how awesome our server was! A charming sense of humor with a generally accommodating spirit makes me want to come back for more. Great portion sizes as well. A true neighborhood gem.

Big portions. At first I was thrown off by the price, then my food came out, and then… I realized I should’ve went with the smaller order. If you want grilled meat, good mac salad, and rice, this place is a good option.

I’ve been coming here since I went to Hosford Middle school in the 90s. Service has always been great here and the food is even better. The teriyaki sauce is like a sprinkle of crack, and the mac salad … straight coke! So damn good. I always order the #9 chicken teriyaki. The chicken portion in the blalah size is HUGE. I always have lots of left over for lunch/dinner the next day! Don’t forget to order an extra scoop of mac salad to bring home with your left overs, you can thank me later!

While we were in Portland we wanted Hawaiian so I found this place on Unilocal. We were their only customer which means our server was attentive. It’s somewhat a small space so I wouldn’t recommend a large party to come here. One of the utensil they provided to us had dried up rice on it. When I pointed it out, he provided me with a new one. I just feel like everything could’ve been washed better. For the food, I was somewhat a fan of it. I ordered the Mixed Plate which had Teriyaki Steak & Kimo’s Sweet Ribs. I ordered a small but they gave me a large! The large was a HUGE portion even when sharing it with a toddler. The meat was soooo tender for the teriyaki steak and the sweet ribs were delicious. The only thing I didn’t care for is the mac salad. The mac salad was on the bland side. I had so much left over that I got to enjoy them for dinner!

We had ‘Delivery Dudes’ bring us dinner last Sunday. Ordered two types of ribs and two types of chicken off the appetizer menu. Also a few scoops of Mac Salad. I am in heaven with this stuff — and as other posters said, the portions are huge! We picked on leftovers for a few days. I don’t know if it’s the salt or just the all meats and carbs but I can only indulge in heaping Hawaiian plates like this every once in a while. Excellent quality and flavors though I definitely ate too much because it was so darn tasty. I will try them again sometime and check out other stuff from their menu… maybe add some vegetables next time :) I can’t decide between 4 – 5 stars so I’m going with 5 because I’m betting they put a lot of time into slow cooking their stuff to get those flavors like they do. Also because they partner with Delivery Dudes!

I’d give this place 3.5 stars. The quantity is amazing, even their smallest(Menhenue) plate is good for 2 square meals. Lets start with the food though. The Sweet ribs and the spick korean pan fried chicken are excellent. The mac salad is ok, and so is the chicken sausage starter. The Kahlua pork which is the staple of any Hawaiian place though wasn’t that good, felt it was over smoked. The place is very friendly though and I might go to try some of their other chicken dishes which looked good as well.

Went there the only night and ordered small portions just to give them another try. Much better this time around but my biggest issue is the temperature of the food. Both times that we’ve been there they food hasn’t been hot. Drink was made strong so that was a plus! Taste is good… price is okay… service is alright… but temperature sucks!

Yum! So good! I have eaten at Noho’s many times but it has been a few years. I had a major craving for their food last week and luckily was planning on going to Portland for the weekend so I made a stop at Noho’s a priority. I had the Korean chicken it was exactly how i remembered it: super tasty, and it went so well with the rice and mac salad. They make their own Teriyaki sauce too which is really good. I must admit i am not a fan of teriyaki sauce but their teriyaki sauce i enjoy. Good food.

this Unilocaler is born and raised in hawaii so i always get excited when i see hawaiian plate lunch restaurants on the mainland. my friend took me to noho’s to get our plate lunch fix and i must say. not bad at all. of course its not super authentic local style what not with eeeevery local dish on the menu that people seem to be demanding but i mean, if you want that experience then buy a ticket to hawaii and enjoy. noho’s is great and i was super satisfied with my order, the menehune spicy chicken plate lunch. their menu is filled with enough variety that you’re bound to find something to make you happy.

The food is good, but compared to some other comparable Hawaiian restaurants Noho’s prices expensive. You will find items here that aren’t on other Hawaiian restaurants in the metro area, so they get points for uniqueness and creativity. Parking in the neighborhood is BAD during dinner time and weekends. I highly recommend the chicken Yakisoba.

Edgar rocks. He is the cheerful waiter. Food was very good. Atmosphere is one you can chill in. No alcohol served at this location… Just FYI. I got teriyaki chicken. menehune size(probably misspelled). It was plenty. Enjoyed our dinner and our service was outstanding. Nice to have a sincerely happy server. Edgarvwent out of his way to be prompt and attentive. Awesome. The food could have been a little hotter temperature wise but it was tasty regardless. Very good Mac salad.
