Great people, very clean. Worth the bit extra cost to know They are doing a good job. The only salon I have seen sterilize tools. Friendly helpful

A friend of mines suggested this company to me… And i was quite surprised to have the best massage Ive ever had. I recently got into a car accident, and was worried that the massage would hurt. But the therapist they sent was perfect. It seemed she was in tune to what spots were soar and what’s areas to give more pressure. And being that they came to my house, i thought that was unique in itself, because i didn’t have to travel. I had the best nights sleep ive had for years. So yes i bought a package deal of ten more sessions. And today ill be having another… And i look forward to it. Nirvana is ok with me… thanks

Like someone else noted I wish I could review each service: Pedi and Mani 3 Stars Décor/Atmosphere 4 stars Layout 2.5 stars Waxing 2 stars Customer Service 5 stars My mom and I went here the day of my wedding. She had a pedicure(milk and honey) and manicure and I meet up with her a little later for my eyebrows to be waxed. My mom enjoyed her services, although it was not what I expected. The place is well decorated, but not well layed out. The thin sheet seperating her from the next pedi meant nothing to her as she moved it and was a Chatty Cathy with the other patron along with the employees.(so the lack of quiet someone else was talking about could be blamed on her) I meet the owner on multiple occassions when planning this day out and he was nice and professional. My mother goes to a typical small nail salon and usually gets a quickie basic mani/pedi so she thought this was luxurious and pricey. I came for my waxing and let the waxer know that I was getting married that day and getting my makeup done right after. She was nerovous and was waxing only a little at a time scared to do too much. I kept telling her it was fine, I wanted them thinner(Muppet brows run in the family) and she waxed three hairs at a time. Finally it looked okay and my mom and I left for makeup. She was happy, but it cost her a lot($ 120ish) for not that much relaxation, atmosphere that one would expect for a spa visit

I wish I could rate individual services, because I have had 2 really great pedicures and an excellent manicure here. BUT I had the worst massage of my life and a very mediocre facial as well. The facial was so mundane it’s not worth mentioning but the massage was so bad I need to warn others. The masseur was Lev(or some variation on that name) and I’m not sure if he’s actually had any training. In addition to his lack of skill, he was so pervy I was on edge the entire time. I won’t go so far as to say I felt violated but he did not seem like a professional. I spoke to the receptionist about it afterwards and she gave me a whopping $ 10 off for my dissatisfaction. I’m not sure if I’ll go back. The nail services I’ve received from Joyce were worth going back for but the rest left me unsettled.

This was meant to be a special splurge for me and my sister, but in the build up I think our hopes were set too high. All this extravagant talk of an intangible sanctuary of wellness; and of course, the very tangible $ 90 tab for 2 pedicures… I think we were both were just expecting… well…more? The space is very small — which is great for intimacy, but when other patrons are constantly coming in and out, it made us feel like we were on display. The drinks were a great idea… but the bartender obviously had not graduated at the top of his/her respective class, and neither of us could stomach more than 3 sips of what tasted like Mike’s Hard Lemonade with the stimulating addition of 5 sugar packets. Overall — I would have rather skipped the faux-Nirvana experience, shot-gunned 3 $ 1 PBRs and hit Hot Nails… but we’ll save that for another party.

A mediocre spa experience at best. All of the services given were less than a three out of ten, which in and of itself is NOT why Nirvana gets such a bad rating. After just the first ten minutes, the spa itself lends a 711 storefront feeling of chaos. You walk by the busy front desk, ringing phones, staff conversations, and confused customers bumbling through from massage to mani/pedi services. The horrible traffic flow due to the poor floor design provides a looming pressure to get out the door. The AC was broken in that massage room of my friend, who was stuck for an hour long massage, slight of breath, light headed, bright red, dripping sweat, and counting the minutes for the entire massage. Apparently the management would rather push through the scheduled appointments(for who knows what reason) at the expense of our experience, than to deem the room ‘out of service’. The water cooler was broken, so you could not get water. The front desk person made special mention/comments as to who was paying the bill, which I noticed made my(very shy and still woozy from heat exhaustion) friend feel awkward and uncomfortable. We were just relieved to be out of there. I was embarrassed to have picked the place(selected only for the convenient location) and would not recommend it to anyone.
