New Wave

I was referred to here by a friend. Since then, I’ve been going here for over a year. I have only used Phuc and he is very consistent and listens to what you want. Good, clean, and friendly atmosphere.

This salon is really great if you can speak vietnamese. Neither stylist understands english but I only found that out AFTER they messed up my hair color. I didnt realize this because they know small talk phrases although I’m not confident they understood my response now that I look back on the situation.
Bottom line is when my hair was washed and blow dryed it was only then that I realized my ash blonde was bright copper red roots with brown bottoms. I tried to explain what I felt was wrong with the cut but it was then I realized that neither knew what I was saying. I think this is a great salon capable of a good solid cut but don’t think about going there if you can’t speak vietnamese and need a technical hair cut + color. It just wont be understood. I now have to pay 100+ to get corrective color done to get rid of the carrot top hairdo I have. I asked for a refund but don’t have a translator.
