These guy are super nice! I came in for advice on a how to fix my kickstand and they ended up just letting me have a spring for free now my kickstand isn’t falling down on the road anymore and I’m going to go back to these folks whenever I need any repairs

I’m looking at restoring my motorcycle. Until I’m ready to start, I’m working on it myself. I don’t know too much about the electrical system, and needed a couple of parts. I bought the parts here, but as far as any questions go, the guy was very dismissive of me working on my own bike. All he would do, as far as any guidance goes, is tell me that I could bring my bike in and then he could do it.
Well rude and dismissive does not impress me, I will be taking my business elsewhere

I jut brought in my 1971 Honda CB750 to get a few things done to it. A a new rider that has no experience with bikes and very limited mechanical knowledge, I thought it prudent to bring my bike to the experts to get it going. I was recommended this shop by a friend of a friend. They specialize in vintage Japanese bikes, so I knew they were the shop for me!
My parts were ordered and the work was done in a timely manner. Everyone I had interactions with (specifically Nean and Jon, but not excluding those whose names I didn’t learn) were extremely nice and professional, and understanding of my newbie terminology of parts and problems. They even gave me recommendations of sites to look for parts and accessories specifically for my bike on the internet.
What really sets them apart, for me, is the thing that happened when I wasn’t even there. I had driven my car to pick up and ride my bike home. I parked on the side street, and arranged for my wife and sister to pick up my car, as they were going to be on that side of town. I rolled away with a «Ride Safe!» from MoFo. Hours later, coincidentally right when the shop was closing and the guys were outside, my sister hopped in my car and drove away. My wife heard somebody say «Hey! That’s Lance’s car!,» obviously showing concern that they had just witnessed a customers car being stolen. My wife quickly explained who she was, and that they were there to get the car. The point of the story is that they actually care about their customers!!! I wasn’t just a dollar sign. I don’t know if they saw me get my gear out or pull up in the car or what, but they were perceptive enough to know it was mine, and caring enough to pay attention that it rolled away with out me in it!
Though I plan on learning how to do the day to day maintenance on my bike, I will be back for the major stuff I plan on doing! I highly recommend the shop to any who have old UJM’s or Euro bikes that they want serviced, restored and cared for!

I’m so glad I finally found my motorcycle repair shop. MotoFactory recently did some work on my vintage dirt bike and got it running and handling like it should. They really went the extra mile to figure out and alleviate some of the quirky issues the bike was having. They were great at updating me on the progress my bike was making, and also let me know what potential repairs and options were available to me before proceeding with any work so I could make sure the repairs were in my budget. I suppose these things should be expected from a motorcycle shop, but after the unpleasant and/​or downright sketchy interactions I’ve had at several other motorcycle shops in town, this type of service was a godsend. Also, the night I rode my bike home, Nean called to make sure I made it home all right and that everything was working out for me. That’s totally rad! I plan to go back for all my future repairs, and am excited to look into their customization work as well.

Finally a professional classic motorcycle shop that delivers.
This shop took the nightmare project I got back from another shop, and made it right. The customer service was amazing, the mechanic was excellent, and the results are awesome. They delivered on the price, the timeline, and the crazy requests I made. This shop is the best classic custom shop in town. Bring your bike here first.

I brought in my bike for a small service and new tires on a friday, right before a weekend ride. Nean, Sean and Jon went way above the call of duty and ended up working 2 hours past closing time to finish the job and make it right. This is not something I would expect from any small business and says a lot about their work ethic and service. I selfishly hope the word does not get out on how awesome they are because then I’ll never be able to get my bike in again. Lol. Why the hell am I saying anything? Well, because they deserve it.

I took my vintage bike here based on some recommendations from friends. The mechanic quickly diagnosed the problem and now my bike is running better than ever!

These guys were recommended to me by a group of close friends that I’ve ridden with for many years (people I trust). I’ve used them twice now for my 1975 Yamaha XS650. They were knowledgeable, fast, and fairly priced. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have a really rare, painful to find parts for, obnoxious to work on bike. Four different mechanics have worked on it and while they all managed to fix one thing or another, I always seemed to break down again anyway. I was about ready to sell the bike after five years of pouring money, time and heartbreak into it and then I decided to give it one. .. more. .. chance. The kickstart lever had never worked properly and I took it to Motofactory not knowing much about them. What led me to them were their British bike chops. I wanted to see how they’d do on the kickstart repair. I e-​mailed not expecting to hear back but Nean got back to me in less than 24 hours. She’s so professional and friendly and as a woman, I appreciated her attention to details and her great communication skills. I brought the bike, dropped it off and the bike ran for three to four months before I brought it back in because I was fouling plugs and running rich. Sean took it in despite being super busy and got it ready in time for a rally that I have been trying to ride to on this bike for at least four years. It ran wonderfully the whole way — 250 miles in all. I was finally able to trust and love my bike again. I’m so glad that I found them. Nean and Sean make a great team.

I took my 96 CBR900RR for carb cleaning it was done in 2 days. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They told the problem and showed me. The bike ran perfect they even let me back in the work area and showed me some vintage bikes they were working on. They do good work and are friendly.

If you ride euro/​japan classics then this place MUST be on your list. Oliver is a friendly, easy to like owner with experience and a well oriented work ethic. My maint,/repair work has always been spot on for my 79′ 400
He has a great staff, The shop is a comfortable place to hang out for a while and talk with other riders. I have met the best riding partners I know in this shop. The mood is never rushed or snobby, it is, in fact, upbeat,
simple and welcoming.

The shop always seems to have alot of work so If you have some sort of time concerns they need to communicated clearly and considered reasonably because things here take old fashioned patience, and having it done right is always worth waiting for.

I have been going to Motofactory since they opened, They are a true, oldskool cycle shop– in that they will treat your bike with respect no matter it’s age, work with you on your budget to get you on the road. I have had everything done on my motorcysles from minor adjustments to major work and they have always done great work and never been over budget. Sometimes there has been a wait but mostly due to parts– carbs for 35 year old bikes dont grow on trees anymore.
In a town where most cycle shops wont even work on classics, they do a great job. They are the only place I take my work.
Update: I ended up in need a of a rebuild on my motor, and they did a great job. The motor has nearly 2K sonce the rebuild and runs better than I had hopped. The shop did a thourough job without being wastefull, they inspected all the parts and reccomended replacements as needed. They found several issues that could have caused major problems down the road while they were in there, and as always they stood behind their work.

I had a 5-​star review posted for my first experience here, then changed it to 1 star when the owner made a mistake in his work and freaked out on me instead of just fixing it.
Apparently the previous owner, Oliver, isn’t there anymore, so I’ll re-​extend my recommendation of the shop. I think a non-​brand specific, small shop is a huge benefit to the riding community in town – it’s a good place to get an honest opinion, and an alternative to the dealerships. I enjoyed my interactions with the rest of the staff here, so please go give them a try under their new ownership.

Motofactory is the spot! Oliver is a great mechanic and super knowledgeable about bikes — especially two stroke and vintage bikes. He did an awesome job rebuilding my 76 DT 175 — the price was also reasonable.
