This is a great place to go for metal supplies in smaller quantities (home, DIY, small fabrication) They have a very helpful staff that is ready to get you whatever you might need. They have worked with me on several occasions to get the best pricing for my needs. I think their prices are at least on par if not better than other metal supply places I’ve been to in Portland. One of the best things about it is that you can look up some of their prices online. They also offer delivery for $ 20. If you don’t have a truck that can handle that uncut length of steel tubing, you can have it delivered! They can also order almost anything you might need and have it the next day.
Another great thing about this place is that they will cut your material into whatever lengths you ask them to (within reason) They will even do things like make 45 degree angle cuts on their bandsaw.
One thing to watch out for though — Make sure you double and triple check your order with them before they start cutting. They are quick to enter the sizes you ask for and sometimes get it wrong. I’ve had them cut the wrong length or cut the wrong size/​thickness from what I asked for. Also, make sure you know what you are looking for before you go in, they won’t be able to help you choose something for your application if you’re unsure of what you need.

Nice place to get whatever kind of metal you need. It’s a little more expensive than what you might pay elsewhere, but you can’t beat the convenience.
