Menlo Park Liquor Store

Haven’t had any issues at this place. Always a good selection, decent prices, sales all the time, friendly staff, convenient location, hours are reasonable.

The customer service here sucks. there’s always a posting up this somebody stole something out of the store. so for one they don’t have tight security if people always stealing.
#2 when you call the light skinned guy who works there will not even say hello he picks up the phone tell you the time and hangs up in your face stupid asshole.

This is my favorite liquor store in the area.
Open, clean, and the staff is really friendly. They have a good selection of novelty things (shot glasses, flasks, ect.)

Talk about a comfortable place to shop for your favorite local gin. wow I was blown away by the atmosphere for starters. Usually liquor stores are crowded with bottles and you know there’s no sense of decoration. Also, the smell of cigarettes always floating in the air like some cheap perfume.
This place is like a breath of fresh air. literally. and there’s enough room to have a dance floor even. The best part though is I had so many local gins to choose from I actually bought 2 I had not been properly introduced to till now.
And why do most liquor stores come on with that whole seedy feel anyway? That is so old fashioned. This place is very inviting. I actually expected there to be stuffed chairs with velvet pillows and maybe a bar! Now there’s an idea right?

Here’s the scoop… Easy parking… large floor area and the booze is not behind a counter. Lots of promotional stuff and gift packages, friendly staff. Right next to a Safeway, for ez shopping.

I love Menlo Park Liquor. The mother and daughter team are just wonderful and are just the nicest most down to earth people. Their store is clean, very well organized, has a good selection of local spirits and the staff is always helpful. It is, by far the best liquor store I have ever found east of 205. I now live in Wilsonville but still visit this location once in a while because it’s so wonderful. Stay away from the 102^nd and Burnside and 104^th and Halsey liquor stores… run down and scary!!!

I love this place. I’ve been to most liquor stores in the Portland/​Parkrose area and this is by far the best. They have almost everything. The only thing I can say I don’t like is one of the men that work there ALWAYS tried to talk me into Pinnacle. I was asking about Sky Infused Passion Fruit and he instantly said that Pinnacle was better. I was like really? Then he said «Plus it’s cheaper!» I just kept thinking how I was okay with spending $ 23 vs $ 14 Then when I bought Sky he said «Hope you are happy with your choice» like it was bad. Other then that guy EVERYONE else is great!

When people think about liquor stores just East of I205 the two locations that roll off the tongue are 1) that store across from the crazy MAX stop at 102^nd and E. Burnside and 2) the store (almost) across from the McDonald’s up at about NE105th and Halsey.
Not so fast!
There’s a hidden gem among them… just drive a little farther to NE122nd and Glisan to the strip mall behind Walgreens and next to the Staples. If you blink you’ll miss the Menlo Park Liquor store because it doesn’t face the street and their small sidewalk sign is well, almost microscopic.
Their selection is pretty good. They have small bottles, big bottles, tiny bottles, mixers, ice and more to get your drink on (or to jump start a friend’s party). Employees are very friendly and will help you find something if you can’t. The best things about this place is that most of their selection is not behind a counter and they’ll suggest a product (like a holiday box with «extras») when it’s the same price or cheaper than the same individually sold product.
