Master Movers

The two men sent to our job site were truly expert movers. They packed my penske truck extremely well. Nothing broke after over 1000 mile journey. The guys who unloaded on the other end were no where near their caliber.
Minus one star for showing outside of the 2 hour window given (2.5 hours after, actually). We also ran into an issue with overtime due to going past 7pm. But I was very impressed with how the company handled my questions about this surcharge and we were able to reach an understanding and resolution (pretty minor amount of money).

I used Master Movers a couple of weeks ago for my move from Beaverton to Vancouver. The team was caught up in heavy traffic but they didn’t charge me extra travel time which was nice of them. The guys were friendly, fast and efficient and made my move go smoothly. My husband has used this company several times in the past and highly recommends them and now so do I. Their rates are very good and they seem to be focused on customer satisfaction zooming through their task despite being paid by the hour. I would thoroughly recommend this company and would always make them my number one choice for future moves.

Master Movers are the Masters. My parents used them a couple years ago to move in the dead of winter and they moved them even though there was snow. They also just moved Grandma this last week and did an excellent job for her.
My wife and I were originally going to move our selves from our 2 BR apartment to our new house. But with a time crunch and objects being to heavy for both of us, we decided hiring movers would be a better route. I can’t even explain how happy we are we made that decision. Sonny and Julio had us moved in 4 hours. They were animals, on how fast, and smart they worked. They didn’t damage anything and took super special care of all our belongings. To top it off they were very polite, and funny. They were able to communicate with us where everything went and what needed to be done by us to keep them working. We are totally thrilled how little we had to do.
If you are in need for movers, I would highly recommend them. The price was less than expected and it was worth every dollar. Sonny is the Master Roshi of moving. Thank you again to Sonny and Julio!!!

Master Movers were very accommodating when we had to change the date when moving to Oregon. The men who came to help us unload our items were very efficient and friendly. I would use them again if and when we move again.

Alex and Donovan were on time, neat and tidy, and had positive friendly attitudes. They worked very hard, but still managed to be friendly and pleasant to be around. No complaints that things were too heavy or wouldn’t fit through a door, like I have heard from other movers at other companies. They were very careful with all our stuff, and left without a ding or scratch on anything.
They were speedy fast! Had everything out of the old place and into the new place in great time. They asked permission to take their break and lunch, and were ready to start again immediately on time.
I would give them both an A. Impressive young men. Very hard workers!
Karen in the front office was great! She was helpful in figuring out what size truck I would need and how many movers. She was even available by phone the night before (way after office hours were over by the way!) when I started to panic that I hadn’t gotten myself enough boxes to fit everything, and she sent more with the movers on moving day.
I would definitely recommend Master Movers to my friends and family. During the actual move, people in my apartment complex noticed how hard working the guys were, and will likely be calling Master Movers to help out for their future moves.

I had a great moving experience on Monday August 24 with Master Movers. Alex and Donovan were very professional and did a great job moving me to another townhouse just a couple streets away. They really know what they are doing! They were very careful with my belongings, as well as efficient. They know how to handle all the tricky moving situations, including quickly moving a washer and dryer down a flight of stairs. In addition, they were both friendly and communicative. Also a kuddos to Sarah and Gordon who helped with communication before the move.
This company is legitimate, the real deal, as they are associated by the American Moving & Storage Association and the Oregon Department of Transportation, and their rates are reasonable for the service they provide.
If I find myself moving again, I will definitely call Master Movers and recommend them to others. Master Movers really does make moving virtually stress-​free.

I see this company has almost all great reviews. Good for them. Here’s my parents recent experience. The company sent 2 men to move them out of their 2 bedroom condo into a 3 bedroom apartment. Some of their furniture was already in storage, so there was less to move on moving day. It took them 12 hours to move them about one mile. Master Movers should have sent 3 men. My parents are elderly with health concerns and this stress is not good for them. The biggest joke is the company website trumpets that moving should be stress free. Baloney. You blew it Master Movers. If I could give zero stars I would.

I trust Master Movers. They are reliable, responsive to my questions and their prices are really affordable. I know several other companies that have used Master Movers and they were thrilled with the results, including one big real estate firm that Master Movers moved across town – 100 different employee’s individual offices and cubicles were moved FLAWLESSLY! Once again I trust them for local moves and moves across the country. They even can move you to another country if you are in the need.

I highly recommend Master Movers — fast, efficient, courteous, professional. All that and at a great price! Request Sarr on your team — he’s the best!

Had this company move me from Clackamas to Beaverton they where on time. Very fast and cared about my things I hope i dont need them anytime soon but if I move again will use them again

I saw this moving truck in our apartment complex and called them to move us a few weeks later. These guys are GREAT in the work they do. They were quick yet very careful with our furniture, not one ding or broken item. What impressed me was the seal they put on the truck door to show it wasn’t tampered with during the travel. They would not break the seal to the door until I was there to witness it. These guys did everything we asked them without hesitation. I would, by far, recommend this company for your next move.

These guys were great! Fast, efficient, affordable. If I ever move again, which I hope not to, I will definitely call them.

I could not have asked for a better crew. They were friendly, professional and exceptional at what they do. My husband and i have moved several times in the lat 18 months (Marin to Taos to Telluride to Portland) and believe me, prior to this move we have had the worst movers – they broke/​ripped/​forgot to load stuff, and didn’t inform us. Upon our arrival to Portland, the inside of the Penske truck looked like it had been on a roller coaster ride (nothing had been tied down properly). While crews in NM and CO took about 6 hours to load/​unload our stuff, Tony and Drew were done in under 3 hours without damaging anything. Their attitude was cheerful throughout. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We made a cross country move from PDX to South Carolina, so glad we used Master Movers. Our Master Movers moving consultant, Brent Barnes, was very helpful to us as we packed up our lives! The estimate was painless, Brent gave us lots of tips to make the process easier and faster.
All the details were knocked out without drama, and that’s just what we were hoping for!
The moving crews on both the beginning and end of our move, were totally pro. The team leader is the driver of the moving truck, and our driver was totally cool. He supervised both moving crews, he was there from start to end of our move.
As broadcasters who move more than most, 17 times so far, I really can’t think of any thing Master Movers messed up on, Master Movers is a pretty solid choice, when you’re ready to make a move!

Master Movers rocked! They showed up a little early, were ready to go, quick and professional. They did a miracle getting everything into the one load and safely unloaded into the new house. There wasn’t even a scratch on anything! These people know their business! The guys were absolutely top notch, quick skilled and friendly. They know town well enough that they beat me to the new house by about 15 minutes because I got stuck in traffic behind an accident on the 205. They were already unloading when I pulled in. (My husband was here to let them in and direct)
I’m happy to recommend them, and Master Movers, this was a job well done!

Master Movers did an awesome job with our in-​town Portland move. Everything from setting up the move (on relatively short notice) to actually getting our stuff out of our old house and into our new apartment was handled with speed and humor.
Our movers, Sergio and Antonio, were great! They were on time, super-​friendly, and had a great attitude. They even dealt really well with a sticky situation concerning our new next door neighbor (who is really unpleasant). They handled her attempts to block our move with an impressive level of professionalism and humor. They managed to get everything out of our old 2-​story house (with basement) and into our new 2^nd-​floor apartment with a surprising amount of speed. I appreciate everything they did for us.
In addition to the movers, the office staff at Master Movers were also great to deal with. Warm, pleasant, funny, and efficient. Sarah provided all the necessary information to make our move smooth and successful; she even took time to answer plenty of my questions about specific furniture pieces.
I would use Master Movers again in a heartbeat, and wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone looking to do a local move.

This was the first time using a moving service and I will say this was the best money spent. We have two great movers who respected our property and were very nice and didn’t tire. We were only going to do the minimum of 3 hours but ended up using them 7 hours because they were so great and worked really hard even in the 90+ degree weather. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had to help the movers pick-​up my Piano that was found flat on its back in the back of the truck because it was not properly tied town. (rope) Should have been with ratchet tie towns. Now I have to take this place to small claims court to get my piano Repaired, Because they say it is covered for how much it weights not for the damage. Cheap Bastards!!! Pay for the Damage!!!

This team of two guys sent to help us move were unbelievable fantastic. From the moment they arrived, they were helpful and shockingly quick and safe. The primary guy, Erik was tremendous in every single aspect. From walking us thru the process, to wrapping items, moving them carefully but swiftly — they never slowed down. In a heartbeat I would recommend this company but particularly the guys who take such great care of our belongings. They deserve beyond a 5-​star rating, the movers deserve a raise.
