My complaint is about the billing. I had an exam and glasses purchased two years ago. This time (april 2013) it was more than $ 120 more for the exact same service. No real understandable reasoning as to why. My bill was about $ 480. I paid it. Then
less than a week later I get another bill saying ««we are sorry for the confusion but it appears we did not collect teh exam costr from you at the time of service. » An additional $ 95.00. In that I had paid $ 120 mor than two years earlier, and commented on it to the fellow doing my final fitting, I would think he would have told me then that there was an additional charge for the exam that was not figured into the bill. When I called and spoke to Christa, I told her that this was really not optimum and why. She said «Ok» in an off-​hand manner. I tried to then explain that an off-​hand «ok» didn’t cut it and she said: «well, we are different companies» as this somehow explained everything. I paid the $ 95 and tried one more time at the end of the call to help her with her lack of bedside manners, and she said «ok» again, same way. I expect this is the last time I use them for this, as it really seems that the «oversight» on the billing was not an oversight at all but somehow part of the sales approach.
