Very friendly and helpful staff. Fine vibe. A nice find on a cold fall day. Am sipping their single malt as I write.

Did somebody say FREE samples?! Maine Craft Distilling definitely did. Great atmosphere, friendly(and knowledgable) staff, and wonderful spirits. The woman who was pouring all of the samples claimed that she had been working there for about a month, but she was fantastic! I couldn’t believe she had only worked there for such a short amount of time. We also got to explore the facility a little bit on our own and it was very clean, yet eclectic. My family and I didn’t have time to sit down and actually try some of the cocktails(the bar was full), but there wasn’t one sample of the gin, rum, vodka, or moonshine that we didn’t like. I can’t wait to go back when I come home again. FYI they are open on Sundays the woman working informed us, even though their hours on Unilocal and even in their storefront say otherwise. I would still check before going!

Blueberry moonshine? Umm… Yeah! Delicious. Sounds a bit out there but I enjoyed it. Overall a very cool Distillery that covered most bases. I tried the single malt, gin, and moonshine. They also had rum. Fun little spot that I Would go back to if I had some time. Cocktails with their craft booze looked like a very nice option for a small fee of $ 5. Friendly staff.

Cool little«farm to flask» distillery located next to Rising Tide. You get to sample their rums, gins, moonshine and spirits for free. Very cool vibe and very friendly, knowledgeable people working here. I am not a gin fan at all, but I walked away with a bottle of the Sprigge barrel-aged gin. I wish they would have had the whiskey while we were there. You can also buy some craft cocktails made with their spirits. If there weren’t more booze tours to be had in Portland that day, I would have pulled up a stool and gotten comfy. See you next time I’m in the area MCD.
