Mac’s Market & Deli

I am writing in regards to the exceedingly poor customer service I have received lately. This is in regards to the 14 740 NW Cornell Road location. Tonight (11/​24/​2015) I went in at 10:00 pm and I was barely in the door before the young, lean, man stated «I have closed down the grill, you will have to go someplace else». This has happened once before with the same employee, who counseled me to go elsewhere for food. He stated «we have been slow for the past 2 hours, so I shut down the grill» and «if I don’t close down the grill early, I will be here till midnight and only get paid till 11:30pm». He was both rude and condescending. He was quite frankly almost combative verbally. He told me I could shop in the store, but he would not cook anything. I have a lack of understanding how someone could treat customers so poorly and be especially condescending to female patrons. I have shopped here for many years, and honestly I do not think I will be back for more of this hostile service and expensive prices.

This place is really dirty and outdated. Bought a Popsicle from there from their freezer only to go home and realize that it expired a couple years ago?! That’s just cheap and neglectful. Not impressed with the service or the fact that it’s a deli and a convenient store.

Disgusting! Revolting! Dirty! Spoiled meat served on a sandwich. This is one of the grossest «delicatessens» I’ve had the displeasure to set foot in.

Good service and great food. The portions are generous and the food tastes good. It is a little expensive but they make up for it with taste and portions.

I go in here all the time. They have most mini mart items, coffee & beer, but what I am really reviewing is the food. Their sandwiches (which may seem a bit pricey before you see them) are so filling you only need half. Their burgers and fries are awesome too, and a great deal. Definitely a place you want to try!
