Ordered online which so super fast and easy to do! We got a vegan pizza with pesto and yummy toppings! It tasted very good! Only reason no five stars is because the pizza was very small for the price

I live in a small stretch of North Portland that doesn’t tend to fall into anyone’s delivery stretch. one hungry-pizza-craving night we searched the heck out of where to get a decent pie delivered, we came across Lonesome’s Pizza, we called and were ecstatic to know they would deliver. we ordered, paid cash at the front door, and hurried up to our apartment to see what we had bought. not only did we buy ourselves a few pies, but we would up with some table top entertainment. ordered:] veggie pie #6: a green pie with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes, topped with homemade basil pesto and grated percerino. –this is my favorite of all the pies we’ve ordered. the sauce is green, the tomatoes are plump, and cheese is juicy and my taste buds can’t stop going crazy. Meat pie #15; a red sauce, mozzarella, arugula, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, and grated percorino. –my husbands favorite. adding fresh and crisp arugula to a pie is standard practice in my house, so when we see it on a pie we go for it! arugula is spicy in flavor and pairs well with the flavorful mozzarella and salty prosciutto. try it out, call your order in(there is a small delivery fee) and let someone else do the cooking tonight. plus you might just wind up with some fun swag, one time I got an entire album, other times I just enjoy reading the funny write ups, more specifically Lorenzo Lamas on our last pie delivery!

The white pizza with bacon walnuts and potatoes, pan style — amazing! Not much to look at from the outside but the food was great. You can order online on their website. The pizza box highlights an artist and their work on the lid.

Me: well, the way I hear it you don’t even deliver to the east side and at 1 in the morning? Forget it. Not even sure why I’m calling. Operator: Nope, the bulk of our deliveries are to the east side. We’ll see you soon! Me: I HATE giving my card over the phone! I bet I can’t pay cash to the driver Operator: oh you totally can! Me: well s***. Sign me the f*** up! Pizza was absolutely delish!!! I recommend at 1 am or 1 pm

Lonesome’s Pizza, tucked into the side of Dante’s, offers pizza and more. the slices are the biggest I have seen in Portland. they don’t make them super small here. It’s affordable pizza slices that are good and BIG. Even though the menu offers a lot of choices and whole pies, they only have 5 or so available as slices at a time. Don’t expect gourmet, but you won’t likely be disappointed.

Great pizza and great service. They delivered outside of their online delivery zone map(75 blocks away from their location) to us in the middle of the night and the pizza was still great when we got it. We appreciate your hard work Lonesome’s!

So it’s pizza and hard to fuck up but. It’s more expensive than«dirty» is less flavorful, and a smaller portion. Not my favorite drunchie place

Delivery came right on time. Around 22 bucks for delivery one topping. Kinda pricey but that seems the norm for pizzerias around here. The pizza crust had a strange chemical aftertaste, like there was something really burnt in the oven it was cooked in, and it ruined the pizza for me. The texture of the crust was tough and the cheese was rubbery. The sauce was plentiful and very tangy, which I’m not into, but if you really like sauce, maybe this pizza is for you. Otherwise, I’d have to rate it as not that good and would recommend skipping it.

Sorry, I’ve given this company several chances but they have failed multiple times in a row. Do not get delivery from them. The first time they made a mistake they took down my phone number wrong. It took over 2 hours to get a pizza that had become luke warm in the process. They promised a free pizza the next time I called. However, the second time they cancelled my order and did not call to inform me that I would not be receiving a pizza. I had to call them up to understand what had happened. When I told them I couldn’t see a reason to ever order from them again, they essentially said«too bad.» Sadly, I can’t recommend this business to anyone. I regret giving them a second chance.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery, and no answer when I tried to call the store. Not happy.

Deliciously crispy pizza in the middle of downtown right next to a homeless encampment. So close you can see a guy masturbating in the street before you get your pizza. Ah, now that really gets your appetite going.

DON’T GOHEREIFYOUWANTGOODSERVICE. or to even receive your food, for that matter. I ordered a pizza at 5:40pm and it didn’t arrive until 9pm. I wish I could say I was exaggerating, but I’m not. I had to make 4 phone calls to figure out what was going on. I was almost to the point of just forgetting about it, because it was so ridiculous, but I had already paid $ 25 for it. Finally, when the pizza got here, we were so hungry, and I open up the box to find they had given me the wrong pizza, with little-to-nothing on it. I didn’t bother to call back, because I’m lucky that I even got anything by the end of the night. I’ve worked in the food business, so I understand the craziness, and tried to take that into consideration, but this was just a plain lack of care for the customers and the job. I’m honestly surprised this place is even in business.

Looking for something different pizza-wise for a late Friday at work I came across this joint via a recommendation from an employee. Since it was a small group of us and we’re close I just walked down and ordered a couple of pies. I ordered the #5(a four cheese pizza) and a #19(spicy chicken, banana peppers, onions, sriracha). It took them about 15 minutes to bake up the pizza and I was back at the office quickly. The pizza went over well, all pieces consumed, and I tried both. They were both equally good and cooked just fine. I have no complaints and no one else seemed to either. A good all-around pizza experience!

I was aprehensive about going there the first time because their motto is «We touch your food» and its in dirty, dingy oldtown, but I got delivery and it was tasty enough pizza. I decided to get them on a Friday late night around 2:30 Am and when they finally answered the phone they put me on hold for about 8 – 10 minutes then when they answered they said they were closed. The website says they deliver until 4AM. I emailed them and the owner emailed me back and said I could get 50% off my next order and that they fired the guy who was claiming they were closed early. I felt bad so decided to give them another try. I called them at about 1Am on another Friday night and gave them my phone number and address and they said that they didnt deliver to me. I clicked on their map and saw that I was 8 blocks within their delivery area on the East and 3 blocks in on the North. I asked them to check again and he did and thats when I said«I am lookig at your delivery map right now on your website and it says I am in your area.» I get put on hold then he comes back and says ok, I guess we’ll deliver to you. WQell, with a motto like«We touch your food» I was NOT goig to have them bring me anything. I emailed the owner again and told him what happened and got nothing back this time. I will NEVER again get delivery from them. Hammy’s is WAY better and way friendlier late night anyway.

it’s just basic, classic pizza but always a win for me. i have no idea what the bar/restaurant inside is like as i always go to the window on the corner after work so this review is of just that. they deal with a LOT of drunks and bullsh*t being on this busy intersection and are so pleasant to a normal late night working bloke like myself. fast, ok prices and super friendly service. tip: always ask what the special is, it could surprise your taste buds ;)

Short walking distance from my office while I was visiting. Pizza by the slice? yes!!! Delicious and tasty. Don’t be fooled by their name… well…actually yes… it can get a little lonesome eating pizza =( Expect lines and no table space during lunch time.

Didn’t realize before logging in that this place was a thing. We knew it was there because we frequent this neighborhood but have never been. We were on our way to see Marilyn Manson at The Roseland and like a couple of aging and washed up rockers we looked at each other and were like«Wow, my blood sugar levels are really low right now!» and we headed over to that window that has pizza in it. Not really up for any real decision making and myself being a bit of a pizza purist we just grabbed two slices of pepperoni through the side window. The pizza was quick and hot and greasy and large. Not sure what the process was but it had some bits that were a bit too crispy like maybe they keep it under the toaster until someone orders it, instead of reheating? Was still better than Pizza Schmitza in my opinion. We grabbed our slices and started walking towards The Roseland and on our way we walked passed the homeless shelter that must have been serving food or just letting people in, as there was a long line and walking passed all the hungry and/or homeless introduced a whole new and previously unexplored dimension of guilt to our meal. We arrived at the venue and weren’t done yet so we stood outside. Some stood outside to smoke their«cigarettes», we stood outside to finish our pizza, cuz that’s how we do. The joints to eat in down town are legion, but the grab and go facilities are a rare find. Aside from the cheese steak in the square, this is the only place I can think that offers carry-friendly bites to eat and walk. Even many of the carts offer bites you’d want to sit down for.

GREATPIZZA!!! I ordered pepperoni and hot wax pepper and it was fast and was delicious! My one complaint was that for a small pizza you couldn’t get ½ & ½ with two toppings Now for the chicken wings: They are GIANT. I’m talking huge. More like a turkey leg! They were really good but my one complaint with those was that they didn’t have enough sauce and weren’t spicy, I ordered them in franks hot sauce. They also had a honey siracha and pear habenaro available! YUM! All around great pizza and happy tummy!

1st line of business when we got into Portland last night was to order Lonesome’s Pizza! These guys are great… the food is excellent, not to mention they have the BEST names for their pizza. We ordered the«Eric Estrada vs. a Komodo Dragon». Even for pure entertainment, check out their menu at The cherry on top, is that these guys also include promo for local bands and artists inside every pizza box they deliver. So awesome. If you’re in the area, make sure to check them out. They deliver till 3am.
