I haven’t always loved Dr. Loebner. I’m not sure when it changed… maybe when I changed from a young teen to an adult? Either way, now, at least, I’m really glad that she’s my doctor. She’s been very compassionate and non-judgmental(which, I guess, any awesome doctor should be, anyway, right?), and she helped me through a rough patch when I struggled with depression. Another perk of going with Dr. Loebner at Providence is her nurse – Dawn. Dawn is AWESOME, and if she left the office, I’d probably follow her. She always remembers my name/occupation/interests/etc. even if I haven’t been in for more than a year! She’s hilarious, and has a very calming effect on patients. And her amiability extended past office visits: One time she and her family came to the Aquatic Park when I was working, and she not only recognized me, but she continued to have a 15 minute conversation! I’ve also always gotten really good service at Dr. Loebner’s office. There’s generally a fair amount of people in the waiting room, but the reception line goes quite fast, and the receptionists are helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 10 or 15 minutes to get in, and I usually would go early for appointments.
