Wore a hat that I realized isn’t comfortable for one day, and tried to at least get in store value but got denied. Very frustrating being a avid person who comes and made many purchases from this store. I will not be back. Guy said the hat looked warn, he should of looked at the one I was wearing cause it’s worn not the one that is 7 days old. Very ridiculous. Their loss not mine! Champs has great customer service and is just a couple steps away go there instead!

These dudes here are great. I came in needing to exchange a hat that although said was my size, was a little too big. That hat was months old, but not worn and they gladly returned it for me with no questions and let me exchange it or another one. Great customer service.

The prices are high, but the service is worth it. I had to exchange a hat three times and it was no hassle at all.

The WORST experience in a retail store I have had, possibly ever. It was our twin boys’ birthday — they both wanted new fitted hats. We talked up this trip to the hat store for a good two weeks. When we walked in, the young man behind the counter acted as though we were blessed to be in his presence. I started to ask a question and was cut off by him saying«what we have is out» curtly. The hat we wanted was there, but not in their size. I asked if we could find out of another store had this hat, the response was«sure». He stood behind the counter for a minute and then replied«their line is busy» and handed me back the hat — uhhhh, wha, okay?!? I then asked for the style number and called on my own — surprise — they answered. While we continued to look, another employee came in and started going on about«how he had to cool off for a minute… he should have been promoted». We were ignored. To top it all off we decided to buy online after this crappy experience, we paid $ 13.00(after $ 70.00 in hats) for second day air, which actually took six days. Sigh.

I love the hat selection at Lids. My favorite style is the Franchise easy fitted. I do wish they had a larger Gator selection but we are on the west coast and this is BeaverDuck territory so I understand. Prices are reasonable and no different from their online store so I have no problem ordering my Gator gear. The selection looks like it’s expanded at the Washington Square location. It may be time for a new Twins hat.

This Lids location finally figured out they’re not in Lloyd Center, or Felony Flats(Clackamas Town Center), and have decided to make all New Era baseball hats accessable to try on –without– being zip-tied to a rack or behind the cashier. I’ll bump up the rating to five stars once they have the black Colorado Rockies hats(without that awkward purple bill) in stock.
