La Dolce Vita Antiques & Unusual Decor

Some time ago on a journey into the heart of inner SE Portland, I stumble upon «La Dolce Vita» a surprising refreshing vintage décor shop that is both equally unusual as it is charming.
Upon entering La Dolce Vita I was awash by a wave of baroque and macabre vintage madness. All items are meticulously arranged and displayed in this small store space. The atmosphere reminded me of a fictional filming set for the late 60’s TV show «Dark Shadows» .
After, a healthy look around, I was quite pleased with the basic pricing structure given the quality and variety of the wares for sale. The gent working the counter was very helpful in regard to advising me on sizing concerns I was having about buying a over coat for my girlfriend. After leaving, with my modest purchase in hand, I was quite happy about the whole experience, and La Dolce Vita has since happily become a regular stop for me when I’m in the area.
For those who want to buy something that is timeless, different or just pain cool, I would highly suggest a trip to La Dolce VIta in the Clinton Street area of SE Portland.

Located in the Clinton pocket, this small vintage store carries some unusual furniture, décor and accessories. La Dolce Vita is well stocked with baroque gold-​framed mirrors and gorgeous vintage slips. They also carry the largest selection of old smoking jackets in Portland, as well as some creepy old paintings of Jesus.
