Aric is an amazing inspector. It’s a massive advantage to have an inspector that has an eye for detail! Also he saves so much time by doing a whole house inspection, sewer scope and radon test all in one appointment.

Aric is an excellent inspector with proper knowledge, training and previous experience to be more than qualified for the job. He has always gone above and beyond for me and my clients. I would trust. I one else to do my own inspection and that is why I confidently recommend him to my buyers and friends. I’m surprised to see anything negative about him on here, just remember 1 spiteful and upset person is far more likely to go out of their way to be negative, than the 10 others that had a great experience.

Aric inspected my house 2 years ago. At the time he was good to work with and I felt that he did a reasonable thorough job with the inspection, but that’s where his professionalism ended. After mailing payment I assumed the deal was done and moved on. Three months later my bank informed me that my check had never been cashed and had been automatically canceled. I emailed Aric informing him that the check had expired, but got no response. Two YEARS later he finally contacted me demanding extra fees for the «bad» check. He wants me to pay him more money because he couldn’t make it to the bank in a 90 day period, or write an email, or pick up the phone. No amount of explaining the situation, or asking why he never contacted me would change his mind. Also, what kind of organized processional entrepreneur doesn’t bother to balance his books for 2 years?
I can not recommend working with anyone that negligent and unprofessional, even if their job skill seemed adequate.

I am a Realtor in Portland Metro and have used MANY various inspectors. Once I worked with Aric, I was done looking for the perfect inspector to refer my clients too. Oregon does not hold the highest of standards for inspectors here as they could and Aric has not only the knowledge of an inspector but also as a general contractor. He offers an incredibly detailed report with many pictures as well and is always willing to answer any questions from my clients. He spends multiple hours looking over the entire home as he is able to view and ensuring he goes over all potential repairs with you from the small items to the large. He makes very clear he is working for the buyer not for me and he will be sure to bring up everything he finds and if its a large repair he will certainly let you know its one of concern and to what degree.
I personally will never need to look again for another inspector and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Aric provided a thorough inspection including the crawl space and attic and found some serious issues such as rotting wood foundation. Though there were some obvious things that were missed such as an improperly secured deck that had way too much movement. I also got the feeling that he down played any issue that was found saying that it was no big deal. He was recommended to us by our Realtor, but if I had to do it again I would have probably looked harder for a higher rated home inspector for the peace of mind.

We had a whole house inspection done by Aric. It was surprisingly incomplete. He missed obvious issues with the house, including not inspecting the crawl space in the basement! When asked about that he had to go back and re-​inspect it. Other questions we had he either ignored or became very belligerent about. I would not use this company in the future.
