Homewatch Caregivers of Portland

I have to agree with the other review that that caregiving quality varies with each caregiver and often times they rather sit and play on their phones then do work. Some of the caregivers can be rude and disrepectful as well. We’ve been with the company for quite a while and while they are started out good they’ve been on a steady decline. They often have scheduling problems and are short staffed. For example, sometimes a caregiver will go on vacation and tell the company but the company fouls it up and doesn’t schedule a replacement. Sometimes caregivers don’t show up at all as well.
They also recently informed us they won’t even provide service anymore because they’re so short staffed they can’t even fill the shift anymore. That’s how they treat their elderly customers (mine personally has cancer and other health issues)! I would avoid this company.
